I read the article but I still don't understand why an undersized inverter would have energy gains in the morning and afternoon.

I have a 7.6kw inverter with a 9.18kw system. When the sun is very clear and at the highest point I see in the app that I'm producing 7.8kw. I'm assuming that its being limited by the inverter? Can I ask tesla to give me a second inverter? will they do it for free?

for my understanding, what is the difference between CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4? I will try the fix suggested and see if it works. Hopefully it's working for others

I don't know how accurate this it is, but my one thing I noticed is when I'm producing around 5kw or more, the tesla inverter fan is running non stop and my consumption goes from 1kw to around 2.5kw. I hope this tesla inverter is not using 1.5kw to run as that takes away from what is being produced.

I meant to say why are they angling the flat roof panels 5 degrees instead of the max 15 degrees that the array can support?

I have an order for 9.18kw system from tesla and I live in socal and have partially flat roof and partially pitched. According to the permit documents the flat roof array can handle 0 to 15 degrees. I don't understand why on the flat roof the panels are being angled only degrees and not 15...
