    Link ABRP to Tesla map

Tesla Maps will navigate you to the closest charging station (I believe) once you’re below 20%, even if it’s out of the way, or behind you. ABRP allows you to set route with various assumptions, such as “show up with 5% remaining”, allowing you to charge more quickly. Further, you get suggested...

    Passing wires from glove box/compartment

Have the same question. Annoyed that iPhone overheats on charging pad after ~20(??) minutes. I’m getting a phone holder and thinking of how best to connect the wire so it’s mostly hidden. Is there a way to get power from globe box usb to the area behind the screen? Thanks

Glow in the dark door handle wrap

The ones I got don’t stick out. If you didn’t know better, you’d think they were part of the handle. its $19, not a major setback. Put another way, this is less then the cost of ice cream comes for your family at a baseball game

Glow in the dark door handle wrap

Honestly, I don't know. It's rarely bitch black outside, so it's never going to be a pair of thin lines visible from a distance. There's always street lights, etc., so the glow isn't really apparent. It is visible enough, so you can easily find the handle. I like it because every third car on...

Road problems that could confuse FSD...

PSA If you’re aware of a problem with a road, signage, etc., that might confuse FSD, you can (and should) report it to the appropriate road department (state, county, etc.) Near my house, there’s a twisted stop sign that was viewable by the wrong lane. This was confusing FSD. My car would brake...

    Unresponsive driver's door handle

Once or twice a month the driver’s door is unresponsive (stays locked when I'm at car). The back door works, and when opened, unlocks the car, allowing the driver's door to be opened. I typically do a scroll wheel reboot when this occurs. Is it worth it to send car to service, or is this just...

    Set default car

How do I set the default car in the mobile app. I sent an address using iOS Share… and it went to my wife’s car. Her car’s appears first, in the app, the car’s name begins with a “A”, mine with a “C”. Is it determined alphabetically? Thanks!

    New Jersey EV Rebate?

You take the price with options (for example, the cost of FSD) included. you can play with the numbers to see what works, maybe buy FSD after delivery, etc., but everything is state tax free on the purchase, you'll pay tax if you upgrade it after delivery

Did Tesla end mobile service (in NJ)?

Nope! You just got to play the "old man" card. As soon as I get a text, I reply "I'm an old man and hate texting, please call me" They'll call you within 5 minutes. It works even if you don't identify as being a man, or identify as being old, or identify as being an old man I've done that...

    app not connecting to car

I've found that after updates (car, or mobile app) there are times things don't work smoothly, As such, I've gotten into the habit of doing the scroll wheel reboot of car after each update. Things just seem to work better. Also, if/when car fails to connect, or takes a long time to do so, I've...

Blue TACC maximum speed setting number

Thanks!! Love those brief notifications (with small, difficult to read font at the bottom of the page)!

Blue TACC maximum speed setting number

On the top left side of the 3’s screen, there are three speed numbers; travel speed, TACC maximum, and the road’s speed limit. Normally, when using FSD, the middle one, TACC, is either black, with the word MAX shown in blue, or both are dark gray (if FSD inactive) Yesterday, while driving with...

    Filtering calendars

This is not a great solution, but it's a workaround, sort of. For for the record, I mainly use native apps Calendar, etc. What if you migrated all your scheduling (calendar) activity to Google Calendar, setting it as default, etc. Then share your personal Google Calendar events with iOS...

    Calendar sync issue fix?

I’ve seen many complain about calendar sync Not sure if this is known, but I noticed the two mobile apps tied to my car, iPhone and iPad (same iCloud calendar) don’t synchronize As a test, I disabled calendar sync, on iPhone An hour later, iPad still showed it enabled (not sure if Tesla syncs...
