Thanks , Electric700. The outlet, plug, MC and charging outlet all seem normal and clean. There has been no recurrence and I intend to let sleeping dogs lie. Considered replacing the MC until I checked Tesla’s excessive pricing.

Re your first point: why keep charging rate low for overnight charging? When charging is complete it just stops, doesn’t it?

Returning my 2018 MS 75D to service for 5th (fifth) time because all steering wheel controls are dysfunctional. Note this includes horn and ability to reboot screens. TESLA service has been unable to provide durable repair of this problem. Have others experienced the issue?

I have hearing problems. Is there any way to switch to a man’s voice in Navigation? Many automobiles offer this option but I have not found it for Model S.
