Vendor Show Off Your Aftermarket Model Y Wheels

Pup winter set. It was tough finding tires in October 2020. Went with 20” TSW Sebring and all season pzero’s. Not many options for tires due to most tires being back ordered. Going to change back to the uberturbines this month for the summer.

    Model Y glass roof chip

Insurance company is going to cover the cost of the roof as a comprehensive claim. They send funds directly to Tesla collision center. Looks to be over 2,500 and that’s if the windshield does not crack during replacement. Collision center said it’s a 2 day project so the glass and cure.

    Model Y glass roof chip

Was driving down the highway and heard a loud clap. Assumed it was a rock that skipped off the windshield. Didn’t see any windshield damage. A few days later was washing the car and noticed the chip in the glass roof. You cannot see the chip from the inside as it is right above the passenger...

Updated my model Y dash trim

looks great. You make it look very easy! Not sure why Tesla went with the wood look. IMO it’s not part of the “sleek” look. looking to do something similar in the spring.

What did you do with the Uberturbines for winter?

thank you Before we purchased our PUP I never though about a potential tire dilemma. Your right there should be winter/all season solutions. I chalk it up to one of those you want to play you have to pay scenarios. Trying to look at the positive side that at least we hopefully won’t have to...

What did you do with the Uberturbines for winter?

these rims are 20” TSW Sebring matte black. With pzero all seasons we put the uberturbines in storage for the winter. Will probably put them back on in March and see how much longer he summer tires have left on them. They currently have approx 8,500 miles on them. Might just stick with the...

What did you do with the Uberturbines for winter?

Thank you! We were also debating just keeping the 21” uberturbines and summer tire on all winter. But from what we read (and been told) even temps under 40 can damage the integrity of the tire, rubber compound, cracking etc. We were going to use tsportsline for a wheel/tire package. They...
