Very low power consumption with SSDs. MAXIMUM power consumption is about 2.8W. That means 560ma. Absolutely compatible with USB-A. SSD will be much faster than sd based flash cards and SSDs have greater tolerance for reading and writing...they are hard drives after all.

For the recent deliveries with VINs in the 40,000s, how is the paint, panel gaps, and overall build quality? I rejected two Ys in the 5 and 6,000 VIN range as the paint and quality were “less than acceptable “.

Technology has NOTHING to do with manufacturing build quality. The car that was assigned to me was simply terrible quality.

Just curious what are your last 5 digits of the vehicle’s VIN? I rejected 6205. Horrible build quality. Others at the store in the 6,000s were similar but mine was the worst of the bunch. Definitely early quality issues.

The Tesla store manager told me they won’t mount the front license plate because you could return the car during the 7 day 1000 mile return period. This insures the car could be easily relocated to a state that doesn’t require front license plates. Makes sense but the logic is a bit skewed...

When the hatch on the model Y is opened all the way, what is the distance from the ground to the highest point on the tip of the hatch? I other words, how much vertical height clearance is needed without programming in a lower height opening??
