    FSD - 2k Price Jump 10.26.20

So you are suggesting that I buy $8,000 of Tesla stock and by the time FSD is really ready for the masses I can sell the stock buy the FSD and pocket my original $8,000? Why didn't you suggest that in 2016 when I spent $6000 for FSD instead of stock. It could now sell it, for $54,800. But on...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

I see this thread has been going on for months. The pictures on page 2 of this thread could have been my car. I have found that on cool humid days, if the sun is shining directly on the B pillar this small oval of condensation forms in front of the camera. When I turned around with the other...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

My situation is well defined : Driving on a cool clear day ~50f B piller is in full sun An oval of fog only in front of the lens Why is only the oval in front of the lens fogging and not the whole enclosure? How difficult is it to remove the trim to access the camera? The seatbelt retractor...

Shut down with supercharger in sight

It would be helpful if there was an adaptor that would allow another Tesla to give some charge to the stranded Tesla.

    Trading in my M3

One other thing to keep in mind is that most RV Camping locations have a 240v outlet that fits the adaptor that comes with the car.

Air Conditioner blowing slowly and not cooling much

I noticed that the AC couldn't keep the car cool in 95 F weather and it wasn't blowing very hard even on level 11 - more like level 4. I keep my car outside so I decided to check to see if the air intake was clogged somehow. I pulled off the 3 plastic covers and discovered that inside the air...

Update from Tesla service on screen yellowing

I had mine replaced about a year ago - there was no difficulty - they saw the yellow and replaced the screen. Now the yellow is back on the "new" screen. It is not bad yet I'll wait for their fix and see what the screen is like before my service contract expires.

    Dog Mode Improvement Needed

We have had the same problem with our dogs rolling down the window. We have seatbelt harnesses that keep them from barking at the windows or jumping out, but they can still reach the window controls so the child locks need to be on. We really love Dog Mode. (The problem is worse in the 3.)

Would you give up free supercharging for life?

I voted "NO", but in the 40,000 miles I've driven, about 7,000 using superchargers I have saved about $500 at the SC (at $0.20 / kWh ~7 cents/mile) On the other hand I have a weekly 70 mile commute between two houses at one I pay $.11/kWh and at the other, on a special electric car rate I pay...

My 60/75 just charged over 236 miles

I live in Raleigh NC in the path of Florence. I went to move it to safety and discovered that it was charging over it's regular 203 maximum mileage. Looks like Tesla gave me a temporary boost to 75kWh during the hurricane emergency. Thanks Tesla

    PSA: CAREFUL--Autopilot sudden braking

It has happened to me both in the MS and M3. Usually for me it is when a car is pulling out of my lane and moving into a turn lane and slowing down. It is pretty consistent. I haven't had a problem with overpasses in many months.

What do you dislike most about your Model 3?

I'll second that. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Even if I am connected to the app it still doesn't show that the phone-key is connected. I want the M3 to recognize my MS keyfob.

Already have J1772 EVSE, should I get the Tesla Wall Charger?

We use the J1772 adaptor to charge our M3. It doesn't have a button to press to open the charge door so you need to press on the charge door to get it to open. Similar problem when unplugging - no button to release the adaptor from the charge port. I need to detach the adaptor from the J1772...

[POLL] Will Tesla ever offer a key fob for the Model 3?

We were having continuous problems with the phone opening and starting the car up until last week. I had to take my phone out of my pocket and turn on the screen - but not unlock the phone. Tesla support suggested that we each get a separate Tesla account paired to the same car - we had to...
