I'm looking for a 2016 (refresh) or 2017 Model S. Preferably a 90d or 100d with at least AP2 with EAP. Preferably located in CT or NY. Must have transferable free super charging capability.
I feel the same way about my 2010 Roadster. And thanks to Henry's adapter I can really take it anywhere. Now I charge it from my home's HPWC along with my Signature S and Performance 3. Three generations of Tesla EVs, all running on sunlight.
Henry, you're the best!
I’m waiting for the new Maxwell Technologies-inspired dry Li-ion batteries for my 2.0 Roadster, Signature S and Performance 3. I know that none of those upgrade options are likely to happen but I can hope.
My wife laughs when I get behind the wheel and change the profile. The range drops like a rock. She’s not hypermiling like the Florida man who got over 400 miles range (you do remember that?), but she drives conservatively.
You may be forgetting that the Model S battery pack may get a similar after-life upgrade as the Roadster. Remember that the pack (with old battery technology) drops out and a replacement pack with new technology batteries pops in and 500 miles range (for whatever you need that) is doable. My...
In the video you click on the charge cable's button to open the charge port. It doesn't open automatically when "the charger handle approaches." That's exactly the same as my 2012 Model S, adding number 5 to the above 4.
An optional (or after market) 8 foot solar PV array bed cover and 120v and 240v power outlets would also be very useful. See http://www.viamotors.com/vehicles/soltrux/.
Thanks for the Raptor video. I can hardly wait to see Doug's expression when he launches the upcoming (soon, I hope) pickup. Many (not all) nice features to add to Tesla's design list. A built-in power lift gate instead of the hokey pull out granny stairs and rail would be far preferable. Think...
Even though it was painted by Lotus in Britain, Tesla calls the color "Racing green." Regardless, I love the color for my mean, green, racing machine. It gets a lot of compliments, too. I trust you like it.
