Guess there needs to be an emergency disconnect toggle button for cases like this. I’ve charged before in questionable places and had thoughts of how to escape. This story should be directed to Tesla HQ. Scary!
Even if the door motor wasn’t there, and the garage door was shut, I don’t believe the doors would open fully. My assumption comes from parking in a multilevel parking garage with ceilings theoretically high enough to allow the doors to fully open, but they don’t. The doors do go up a few...
That would be some crazy engineering, now you can’t see out rear view and as a rear passenger you could not see out front..... good thing it would limit back seat driving !

After a couple of months of ownership, and because yesterday was my first ride in back seat, I looked up at sun windows on Falcon doors and saw latches on each door next to windows. I have no idea what they do. I searched the manual and found no such latches mentioned. What are they for please ?
That Model X spoils us! I have the 750, but the X5 my wife drove before the MX is sitting. I bought a cover for it, so I can’t see it sitting there alone and dejected. .
My 750 has been good to me, no issues except standard service BUT if I could get a fair deal for it, I would trade it in a heart beat for an MS. My wife as the ‘18 MX and we love it. Going to do a round trip Florida to Maine next month in the X!!
