Nah, no Irony there. Since the loaner was at the service center than it probably got the updates over the air via their geo-fenced network. Being at a Tesla Store or SC on their wifi is the best way to get a quick update from my understanding. I have no personal experience with this though.

It is such a shame. How could it possibly be so bad? My car is a month old, and it will not fully load any one page. I get it, plug-ins are dangerous and can be used to hack. But I feel like those brains at Tesla could come up with a way for us to load our gmail calendars, etc.

I know for sure that my X will give a chime and large Red indicator on the dash that lets me know that the door is open.

Rear seats Design & Build look awful. I'm hoping that this is a prototype.

What's funny is that I swear that in a video or older screenshots that I have seen there being a "red" indicator when you put your turn signal on when there is a car detected in the blind spot. My Model X does not give any info on BSM.
