I traded my Tesla for a Lexus

Congrats on the new car OP! looks amazing! Don't mind all the Lexus Hate! They make amazing reliable and beautiful cars! My dad has a 2018 LS and he loves it. How much better do you like it over the S?

    Selling my 2017 P100D $68,192

It has an extended warranty which I'm assuming is transferable to the next owner.

    Selling my 2017 P100D $68,192

I'm looking to possibly "downgrade" to the Long Range + Model, however, if I feel like I'm losing too much (which I probably won't) I'll go for the Performance model. My car is fine feature-wise and has everything I want including the sunroof which the new model doesn't have and I HATE IT. I...

    Selling my 2017 P100D $68,192

I don't remember the exact number off the tip of my head but I know it was between $60-62k. I'd happily take their offer but I wanted to see if anyone on TMC was interested as well.

    Selling my 2017 P100D $68,192

I'm selling my S it's a 2017 P100D with 67k miles (and will continue to rise as this is my daily driver). I'm selling because I want a new Model S (that's it). I'm the first and only owner. I custom ordered the car on 4-28-2017. Spec as follows: 2017 Model S P100D Pearl White Enhanced...

    Buying a used model S

2016 and beyond was the start of the slipstream wheels. Before that, it was these that were standard. So maybe the last owner swapped them out. To be honest I think these look better than the slipstreams still.

Given lackluster service would you still buy a Tesla?

I too have not had any issues with Tesla service per se. If anything they've had to deal with my uncooperativeness. However, the repair times are a little ridiculous (5 months into ownership a teen girl hit the left front side of my car. I was stopped so the damage wasn't too major) and all I...

    Model S Tires

I know the struggle! I, however, do have a lead foot (my husband drives much slower than me and IM THE WIFE lol) so the tire wear is my problem. My rear passenger tire exploded on me while I was driving 83 MPH on the highway (at 6 AM!!). The joke is I only had that tire on the car for 3 months...

    Hit 200K miles today.

Congrats on hitting 100k! I've been on a hiatus from here (for 2 LONG years), and my car recently hit 60k miles! Pure Bliss! Can't wait till I hit 100k!

Poll: How reliable was your Tesla?

My P100D has been in for service 3 times since delivery! One for chrome trim being misaligned, sunroof leakage whenever I go through a car wash, and my windshield having bubbles in it. Tesla still hasn't fixed 2 out of 3 of these issues. They fixed the chrome trim. But technically they still...

Notable change in 17.34 (folding mirror routines)

I don't like this at all. I accidentally ran into my passenger side mirror while I was trying to walk past the car in the garage to put a boxes filled with clothes we no longer wear into the trunk. So this has to change before I run into my driver's mirror trying to squeeze past the car to get...
