Gotcha. Yes, I meant the actual speed on aftermarket devices, not autopilot speed. Glad to hear it’s not the case with this one.

That’s where I was back in 2018, and I haven’t looked back. Paid cash back then, and after almost 4 years and 64,000 miles I still am enjoying it like I did when it was brand new (most people think it is). I won’t even consider getting another one for years.

It seems most of those add on devices lag by about 1 mph or so, almost no matter the make.

I told them to delete alignment from the order. They put it on automatically when I had it in for FUCA replacement. Didn’t need it.

Don’t they charge a monthly fee now for heated seats?

I don’t know how you feel about traveling the distance, but Rich Rebuilds is in Salem, Mass. They are excellent at repairing, rather than replacing Tesla stuff for a small fraction of what Tesla would charge. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them if it became necessary.

Gotta agree on both the handling/performance and tire wear. Best I’ve ever experienced in 4 decades of car ownership.

I thought I read on here somewhere that there was a problem with the wheel well liners rattling whichI think I’m getting. I hear a light rumbling sound from the front, similar to it. Can anyone give me any direction on this?

I don’t drive aggressively all the time, but certainly don’t baby it either. I’ve even had a few races, several full launches over the course of the more than 3 years until that point. Lifetime wh/mi is about 267. So most of the time I do drive normally.

Probably not common, but I replaced my first set of 20 in. Michelin PS4s at over 51,000 miles. Now at 64k, I expect to yield similar results and get to 100,000 before I’ll need to replace. Best handling tires I’ve ever owned also. I’d read of folks having to replace these at 20,000; even 15k...

I think my HVAC runs too much and too long after parking. Maybe hence no problem with the smell(?)
