Yah, it was definitely a smash and run. There were Audi parts left behind in the wreckage, so it is probably unlikely that it was an uninsured driver. My guess is that they were probably under the influence. It would have been nice to get their license plate number from the cameras.

Unfortunately I got woken up last night to the sound of my Model X being smashed in a hit and run. I really wish I had sentry mode to get a glimpse at what happened. The Tesla service center in Dallas said that they will not be able to repair it and I have to send it to Service King.

I am wondering how long this feeling lasts. I took delivery in March and I still look for every little opportunity I can to get in it and go somewhere. I freaking love my model x.

Sorry I should have clarified, that I tested it by putting the Apple Watch on Airplane mode. Same problem. Then I left the watch at home. Same problem. It is a First Generation watch. He instructed me to reset the MCU with the scroll wheels.
