    Garage door opener

If my HomeLink didn't work like it should, I would be right here bitching about it instead! Ideally would be nice if it just came with the car, but apparently they have to pay for a licensing fee for every module Tesla puts in a car, whether it is used or not!!

    Garage door opener

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. I can tell you in 2 years of using MyQ, it works about 70% of the time! Plenty of forums report similar problems. My garage door opener is within 100% signal strength of the Wifi. I used to think it had something to do with Wifi/Cellular competing...

Wow I would be so pissed if I didn’t check or know about that beforehand! Wow! pro tip: check first then moving though...just SOL ugh

    PPF and Modesta

Would I do it again...I think so! check in again in about 1 month, then 3 months and 1 year!!! the Modesta BC-03 is supposed to last for 10 years! Not sure how they can gauruntee that though! maintenance is essentially up to you! It’s cured to your car!! You can actually go to car washes...

    Garage door opener

MyQ via WiFi is not reliable, particularly for closing the door. Not just me, it is reported on multiple forums. Distance of the home link module is comparable to clicker. And clicker behind the screen is not hidden out of sight. I can see it from the outside. But that’s what makes it your...

    PPF - Cleaning Dirty Seams

I am curious about this... My detailer who does a lot of Tesla’s and other much more expensive cars with XPEL said that if you roll it under sometimes there isn’t enough area for it stick in certain areas of the car....unless you start taking apart the car for it. I do trust the guy. thoughts...

    Garage door opener

For what it’s worth about “worth it or not”... I recently had it installed for the 300. I was using MyQ app from my phone, which worked about 70% of the time to close...although it seemed to 0% of the time when raining or I didn’t want to get out of the car to manually close the garage...

    PPF and Modesta

Sorry I didn’t respond sooner... As the other poster mentioned, “worth it” is a personal decision. I have Modesta on a PPF of pearl white. Here’s my initial thoughts: it is hard to compare to a non Modesta with or without PPF pearl white but it definitely has a sparkle to it. It definitely...

    PPF and Modesta

Little hard to swallow, but ~7k. With two sets of rims coated, and console piano black filmed to matte, screen protected, and windows tinted 35 except windshield

    PPF and Modesta

So I went with max protection. Full XPEL and Modesta. A lot has to do with you detailer. As mentioned above, if they know what they are doing and have experience, they will tell you how much and where to do to minimize seams and other noticeable features. I am set to pick my car up today...

    Model 3 Rearview Mirror distortion

Wow, so you think your actual windshield glass has distortion!? Luckily, I dont notice that. Just the mirrors. Granted the back window is very small, but its annoying to see double lights.

    Model 3 Rearview Mirror distortion

Been driving my new Model 3 for last 3 days. I have noticed significant distortion in the rearview mirror (and even the side mirrors to a degree). I assume it has something to do with glare/night driving, but it is almost double images of headlights and whatnot. Anybody else notice this...
