I have the Tekonsha ZCI kit installed on my 2019 M3. It was working perfectly but now it is activating the brake lights when plugged in. I’ve disconnected it from power (VC left) and tried the reprogram sequence several times with no luck. Anyone else have this issue and a solution?

Finally got my Tekonsha Modulite ZCI installed and it works fine - so far. My 3 had the grey plug but I did not route it down far enough when I installed the hitch, so I could not use it as a power source after the fact. Make sure to run a long enough wire from this plug or route it down further...

As things go, I did not get to the install yet.

Has anyone used that plug to power their wiring harness - instead of going to the battery or hooking to the power under the back seat? I'm going to install the Tekonsha Modulite tomorrow.

Anyone get similar noises while driving? I get them while accelerating uphill and at other random times.

I had a charging issue when I went from the Leaf to the M3 on my JB Pro 40. I called Emotorwerks and got a live human that sorted it out quickly. I'd give them a try.

It kinda sounds like a piece of gravel hitting in the wheel well but there is no gravel. It happens at random phases of driving; acceleration, deceleration and just cruising along. I can feel it in the floor, mostly with my left foot. It occurs on average about once a day and I drive a 100+...

Only voids it if the hitch is proven to be the cause of the damage.

Model 3 Trailer Hitch Wiring Plug?

I installed a hitch on my 9/19 build and saw the plug too. Pulled it down enough so that I won't have to pull the bumper to get to it. Is it usable now or do we need to wait for towing to be enabled on US models?

I just installed my Eco Hitch today and found a connector that might be for trailer lights. My 3 was built 3 weeks ago and has the removable panel for the hitch.

Okay. Looks like I'm not the only one. Where else should I check?
