Media player in 8.0 actually got worse (for local music)

Hi everybody. We all need to email [email protected] to express this disappointment. I did so today and got a response back saying they will look into it. The more of us that email the higher chance that a quick fix will come out.

    Charging Help

Sorry for the blast, but we are Model S owners who traveled to Arnold,CA for the weekend but forgot to bring our charging equipment (including cord) and are running low on charge. Are there any gracious tesla owners in the area that would let us borrow their cord for a few hours, or have any...

TSW Nurburgring 20" as All-Season Wheels

20" TSW nurburgring wheels with mirror cut finish. Got them from Jason and getyourwheels.com and they came fully mounted, balanced, sensors etc (just had to inflate tires a bit as they deflate for shipping purposes). Swapped wheels no problem. Fashioned my own centercaps. If you want more...

Andy Blau at The Drive lists 7 things he hates about his Model S

It was definitely clickbait, but I took the bait because I always enjoy reading the ridiculous claims made by people that have complaints. Most of the items on the list he should have known going into purchasing a car in this price point. I certainly did and, after consideration of the points...

    NHTSA Standards Inadequate?

Saw an interesting piece this morning about front seats that pass the NHTSA "pull test" which, in all practicality, is useless in determining whether or not a front seat will collapse backward if you are rear ended, potentially killing a child sitting in the back seat. NHTSA requirements for...

    Center caps for aftermarket wheels

I also got the TSW Nurburgring but in graphite grey and mirror cut finish. I think Jello's dark grey centercaps look fantastic, but I didn't have much luck with 3dcarstickers.com when it came to something with a silver/chrome background. The stickers I received had a fake "reflection" or...

    Orange Trail/Dust on fog lamp?

Had the SC investigate, they say it's because there is a suspension-related part that didn't get fully painted at the factory and so as condensation builds (wherever it builds) and then gets blow onto this particular part, and runs along it, it creates surface level rust, which then can run out...

    Orange Trail/Dust on fog lamp?

Thanks, Amped and Max. This gives me at least something to go on. I tried searching the forums prior to posting but couldn't find what I was looking for, so this gives me more meat for my search. I'll also let you know what the result is from the SC tomorrow. Cheers and thanks!

    Orange Trail/Dust on fog lamp?

Hi everybody! I've had my 85D for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier! Coming into it I knew there are probably going to be little nits and nats that I need to address, the but the overall car is incredible! Has anybody noticed or had any experience with a strange orange liquid/dust trail...

EPA Range for 70D 240 miles - does it make sense?

Apache: Thanks for bringing this up. I am one of those who don't know what you mean about "impacts on degradation and SpC rate and taper." I also tried googling those terms to no avail. Do you have any handy information or links from with which I could start to educate myself? Thanks in...

    Range Rating decrease on 85D

I knew I wasn't crazy: If you read through the comments on the blog statement for the D, other forum members note the range of 295 for the 85D. So at one point, 295 was definitely quoted by Tesla.

    Range Rating decrease on 85D

Ok . . . so I could have sworn up, down and sideways that when the AWD was first announced, the 85D showed a rated range of 295 miles . . . I'm positive of this because I remember thinking that they were getting close to the magical 300 mile barrier. However, now the 85D shows only 265 miles...

    New 20" Wheels & Tires

KeithE: Looks beautiful! After driving on 20's for a while how do you like them? I'm considering doing the same for commute purposes. Also, do you have the coil suspension, or air? If air, what setting is this on? I'm trying to get a feel for how high the car rides with 20 inch wheels and...
