    Model S Tire Wear

I have P85+ with staggared 21" wheels (no rotation). Rears lasted 20k miles before I had to replace them. Fronts are still going strong at 31k miles... Probably will make it to 40k when I will replace both. The 21" wheels are expensive but they look so good in my opinion.

    Any Bay Area P85+ Commuters?

I was worried about tire wear on the P85+ but decided to take the plunge and change out the wheels if I noticed excessive wear. I have been racking the wear very closely with an elaborate spreadsheet. With about 13k miles on my car, I still have about 6/32" of tread on the rear tires and 8/32"...

Most Original Miles with no Public Charging

I am the opposite of this thread. Close to 12,000 miles and I have never charged at home. In fact, I haven't paid for any electricity either. :)

    Best supercharging road trip strategy?

You are charging at anywhere between 200-400 mph. Unless you figured out how to disable the speed governor on your Tesla, it is always quicker to drive faster and charge longer. Have a safe trip and enjoy the free charge! :)

Vendor T Sportline 19x8.5" TST Wheels For Sale for the Tesla Model S

Do you have any pictures of the Matte Black wheels (preferably on a Silver Model S)? Also, any plans on making a 20" version of the wheels?

Dolby setting in audio system (Sound Studio...or whatever it's called now)

Bluetooth (A2DP) only supports 2 channels, so there is no surround sound over BT at this time.

    Firmware 5.9

After months of pushing cancel update, in order to keep my auto lowering feature, I pulled the trigger tonight. After the update I am now on 5.8.7. One step closer to 5.9... I guess I have to live with no auto lowering for a while until I am prompted to update at least one more time.

No gas makes driving a lot "easy" -- are you concerned about mileage?

I am driving without thinking about mileage. One of the best things about the car is that my family has taken more road trips just because it is "free". Tesla is bringing back the road trip... it is a great way to explore the area with your family. Makes me feel like I am back in my youth...

    P85+ with 19" wheels

I am getting pretty even wear (inside / middle / outside) across all of my tires. In fact, the outside appears to be wearing ever so slightly faster than the inside. Overall, the front tires are wearing much slower than the rear. Looks like I will be able to replace the front tires for every...

    Firmware 5.9

I just saw this post on reddit. Not sure about the validity of the post but hoping v5.9 starts rolling out soon (if it hasn't already). Model S v5.9 Firmware - feedback? : teslamotors From the post:

    P85+ with 19" wheels

I can't answer your questions about the suspension changes so hopefully someone else can. What I did want to mention was that I was the one who started this thread last year and ended up getting a P85+. I was really worried about tread wear with the 21" rims, but after 7,000 miles I think it...

Over 7,000 miles and still haven't paid for electricity

After close to 5 months since delivery and over 7,000 miles on the odometer, I still haven't paid cent for electricity. We have taken the car on 3 long trips (700+ miles round trip), it is my daily driver and has become my families car of choice any time we drive somewhere. Most of my free...

Rear sunshade from Tesla -- creases....

I haven't noticed any creases but that is probably because when I picked it up at the SC it was not folded up. I assume if you have it shipped it would need to be folded. Has anyone noticed the fabric being a little wavy in spots? Looks like it almost isn't sitting perfectly and there is...

    De chrome opinion please

What wheels are those? Brand and size info. Those are some of the nicest 3rd party rims I have seen on a Tesla. They match the de-chromed look nicely.
