“Tesla uses non-sealed taillights” Water inside is normal according to mobile service.

After seeing condensation inside one of my 2 month old MX, I contacted service to get it repaired. Their response is that TESLA doesn’t use sealed taillights and the amount of water inside the twilight is considered “normal” How do you escalate service request? All the support options lead you...

22x10 up front will rub/ may not fit no matter what offset you put. I have 22x9.5 28mm offset with 285/35/22 and the have 1/4 in clearance to the control arm and the very lightly rub when reversing under full turns. At all heights

TeslaCam and “very helpful” TESLA service

2020 MX, after 3 weeks 4 drives and countless hours of formatting and drives on Mac and PC, I decided to call TESLA for help. After the service adviser told me that they couldn’t plug any external drive into their computers to help me but that mobile service could. After scheduling with them, I...

    80% only 110 Miles? 2020 Model X Long Range

Use the schedule departure charging, this way the battery heater and the cabin preconditioning happen while the car is plugged into the wall. The distance rating is based on 300Wh/mile. If you’re stating you had 100 miles for 85% you would be consuming 3X power (900 kW/mile). This feature will...

Max Model X non supercharger speed

Also most local fire codes require a local (right next to the charger) disconnect for services in excess of 60 amps. And the breaker doesn’t count.

Any consensus on 22" with same range as stock 20"?

Scorpion Zero all season plus. Wheels are 22x9.5 28 mm offset and the tires are all 285x35x22.

Any consensus on 22" with same range as stock 20"?

I replaced the 20” with Vossen aftermarket 22”. I also changed the tires with Pirelli low rolling resistance all season tires. I have not seen any increase in consumption. I just finished 500 mile trip with speeds averaging 84 mph and I had average 378 Wh/mi.

Show off your aftermarket Model X wheels...

I didn’t weigh them. But I can carry the 22” easier than the stock 20’s. The stock wheels are so heavy. I didn’t see any difference in range. Average consumption for both is around 339 kWh/mi on my commute. 22” tires are low rolling resistance though

    Tesla delivery times

It depends if Tesla can sell cars in your state. In TX we actually purchase the cars in NV. So Tesla requires full payment before shipping the car

Question about Model X tire sizes.

The problem is not the tires but the stock wheels. The rear rims are too wide to fit in the front without rubbing.

    Trading in 2018 X75D for Raven Perf X - Compare/Contrast

It’s not a second regen brake. It’s your parking brake; I think it’s also used for holding the vehicle if your foot is not on the brake. The regen brake is just the motors working as generators. It may be that the larger motor doesn’t use the regular brakes for this.
