have the same issue when i tow the jetski and figured its a software thing. there must be a reason why it keeps the rear camera visualization even in tow mode.

that extension at least doubled the length which also means force exerted on the hitch is now doubled. this effectively reduces the hitch load capacity to 80lb or in your case only 50lb cargo.

based on the pic it looks like a different issue vs op. service menu on mine showed ecu fallback same as op. i haven't had any issues since the computer was replaced.

late update but issue kept coming back. took it in and they ended up replacing the "computer" and no more problems. in the process they created some other minor issues but nothing a mobile visit and another trip to the sc couldn't fix...smh.,..

ouch...i thought seat belts were supposed to stop forward motion but i guess this being a rear end collision it might act differently. might want to have the seat belt inspected to make sure it functions properly if they go the repair route. it would be lot more than a bump if it was a front...
