Out of curiosity, did they refund the diagnosis fee? I would expect them too if the failure was exclusively caused by something under warranty.
I've only dealt with a warranty claim when I still had the "bumper to bumper" so I could be misinformed though.
Mine started doing this exactly under the same condition, colder weather, only while reversing.
After reading comments about deposits from very little use of pads, I think it's because I use the pads heavily for autocross, but the autocross season ended in October and now I pretty much just use...
Walmart's house brand, full synthetic, scored highly in independent testing for severe usage. I use it exclusively in the S2000 for track days. Anyone who pays $$$ for the other brands you listed is a sucker IMO
I have a set of 18x8.5 Enkei Raijin wheels that i ran on a 3 Performance (with standard rotors, I'm selling because they don't fit over PUP rotors).
The tires are 235/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE71R, which are Extreme Performance Summer tires (autocross tire).

I have a set of 18x8.5 Enkei Raijin wheels for sale if you're ever near Baltimore. They currently have Bridgestone RE71R Extreme Performance Summer tires (autocross tires) on them, but I can sell the wheels separately.
I used these for autocross on a 3 Performance (without PuP, so they will...
I could, but I want to use the spare as well, so I'm always monitoring it's pressure and so the tread will be the same if I have to swap it in a pinch. I'm used to doing a 5-wheel rotation pattern on older cars. Also if the wheel is damaged when I need the spare, then I'll have the replacement...
Definitely a personal preference thing, but I'll chime in anyway. My wife has a 2018 Model S 75D, but without any physical upgrades (like yours, OP) and I have a Model 3 Performance.
As you can probably guess by my avatar I greatly prefer the Model 3 Performance because of how it drives. Much...
Looking to purchase a single wheel for use as a full-size spare. Will purchase with/without OEM tire mounted. Cosmetic damage is fine, so long as the wheel is structurally sound and not bent or unbalanced.
Located in Rosedale, MD 21237.
Personally I would strongly recommend winter tires. However, if most of your driving is going to be in a city/metro area where the roads are regularly salted and plowed, AND you have experience driving a car with all-season tires in snowy conditions, AND your factory tires still have lots of...
I seem to be the odd man out here.
I had a 2013 Elantra GLS,with a 6-speed manual with ~120,000 miles. The local Hyundai dealer offered me $2,000 for it, Carmax offered me $3,000, and I ended up trading it in for my 3 Performance for $4,000.
