Thank everyone for chiming in. I have no idea it's this complicated... and the long history of garage door hitting the X. oh well, maybe it'd be smarter 10 years later.
Not sure if it's me or the software, but the garage door opens and closes perfectly if I drive into and later back out of my garage. If I reverse into my garage, the door won't open. Anyone else back into their garage? It lets the falcon door open completely.
here is a twist to the holding inside button down- I did that to no avail, so I followed with lifting it up and hold for about 20s. then came the sound I have been waiting for and the button lit up. That's it, problem solved.
the bad, it really is not there yet. the good, i am not blind. @hmmm, by fob pairing, you mean the car knows which fob is in it? or well, at least, these are minor issues. still loves my M X.
i looked at the windshield more carefully, i think it's the curvature. it has a slightly bulbous shape if you look at it from the side of the hood. i am not a glass engineer, but i wonder why can't they make the lower portion-the part that most people see through flatter and let the curve starts...
I am a new owner, read the manual. But I couldn't find this function. Was i blind?? The change of noise with speed increase is much higher in Tesla than ICE cars since it's so quiet at low speed. I am baffled as to why the MX doesn't have a way to automatically increase the volume of the music...
Sadly, I got the same problem. At least it's stuck closed. it'd be a total pain if it is stuck open. Tesla should gave us a way to perform the 12V battery reset.
mine is just a few days old, so it's all PA winter (~30-50 F) consumption. about 420 Wh/mile, 90D, stock wheel. continental all season tire. mixed city/hwy. typically doing 60-80 mph on the hwy.
