One thing that I actually like the look of is rather than blacking out the door handles is putting a carbon fiber wrap on them. I don't like it so much that I would do it to my car though. I general I'm happy with the small amount of chrome on the car.

What are you using for a timer? I had a house fire from a heat lamp plugged into a typical 120V outlet timer that melted down, which draws far less current than a charging Tesla.

When my car came back from service they measured the tread wear as being perfectly even all the way around and deemed a rotation unnecessary. I'm one to take off from stop lights a bit on the fast side.

So they bumped the price from $600 to $750? That's pretty insane for a once over. My guess is that they don't want to do the service and would rather spend that time fixing broken cars, and the price is there to deter people.

If the camera was the last app you selected from the app menu, then you can just drag up from the app menu button and it will show the camera. I don't really use any of the other apps, so the camera is always there for me when I need it.

AP1 has Autopark, but it's super slow and not really reliable. I'd say it might be more reliable if I practiced lining the car up for it, but I think it's too slow for that to realistic for me. I don't know what AP2 Autopark is like.

Unlatching my seat belt triggers it in my '15 MS. If I have someone sitting behind me I have to warn them to get out of the car before I run their feet over.

I'm a percentage person. I do not get charging complete notifications at home. The setting is definitely enabled in my app. I never stick around superchargers long enough to find out whether or not I get a complete notification there.

The only thing that's 100% reliable is that nothing is 100% reliable. Even that might not be true 100% of the time.

I don't know about newer cars, but in my '15 MS it seems completely random. There are times where I don't need it at all and it comes on, and there are times where it would be greatly beneficial and it doesn't come on. It hasn't seemed dependent on temperature or humidity.

If the outlet is going to exist, it must be wired correctly. Hook up the neutral with the appropriate sized wire and don't worry about what the UMC does/doesn't make use of.

I'm going to be spending a month in Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle and would definitely appreciate better charging options. There is a shopping center in Bogue that has a couple Tesla chargers that seem to be always populated by locals or ICEd. The hotel I'm staying at has a 14-50 outlet, but...
