I'll be heading down to Emerald Isle, NC for a month pretty soon and I'm a little worried about the charging situation down there. I see there are a couple destination chargers in the Carteret Crossing shopping center and what I gather from open source information they're often ICEd or taken up by locals. The hotel i'm staying at, "The Islander", has a 14-50 plug in the parking lot, but that's not a reserved EV spot, so if I can't get near it I can't count on it to charge. Other than that, I don't see any reliable ways to get a charge in that area.
Is there anyone on here familiar with the area and the state of the chargers (how busy they are at what times of day, etc)?
Does anyone here have a rental property in that vicinity with charging they're willing to offer up?
