I couldn't get a good look. I blew it out with some compressed air and keep an eye on it. If it gets worse than I'll pull the trim off and have a better look.

Make sure you keep topping it with something, like the wet wax. Without that it won't last. I used it on a few cars and it lasted 2-3 months max. Turtle wax did a great job of marketing the product on YouTube.

From my completely uneducated guess on this, my take, The model y rear wheel drive makes them a lot more money or at least loses them less money. So they are going to prioritize that versus the performance which is a little bit more costly.
