Correct me if I'm wrong but Audi is promising that this will do what Tesla has been able to do for a while, except Audi is taking responsibility thereby making it level 3 while Tesla placed the onus on the driver with the nags, making it level 2. Right?

Agree. TACC is the game changer in driving. I love autosteer too, so I would pay for AP but not as much of an impact as TACC. I always have to have adaptive cruise control on my cars going forward, be it Tesla or otherwise.

I don't see the price decrease. I have been looking for a few months now at a basic S 75 with enhance autopilot. Same price. Perhaps other options have decreased in price and that's what the OP is seeing in his configuration.

I think it should be fine. A month ago I did a 170 mile trip to dover from Brooklyn in a 90D. I was down from 290 to 100 miles or so. Drove mostly at 65-70 MPh in AP.

I would think the difference is battery/miles is easily worth the extra 4000.

I didn't see any 40s. I did see a few 55s which were basically 2012 and 2013s. There was one S85 for 60000 which I though was a pretty good deal for what it got you except no AP.

BTW went to store and looked at their CPO inventory. There are a lot of CPO cars. None of them quite my ideal of 85kwh with autopilot. But quite a few 2013 and 2014 options. Strongly suggest go to store if you are looking for CPO.

Yeah I'm not keen on the larger car or the speed or luxury aspects either. I'm going to have a 350 mile commute 3-4 times a month. And for that I want Autopilot. Thats why I'm also looking for a CPO 2014 S85 with autopilot.
