It took 4 days to get my quote. It was about $2k below where I had hoped it would be but saving tax on the amount traded in made up most of the $2k I didn't get.

I could no longer edit my car as of 08/15. By 08/17 I was told I had a VIN assigned but they couldn't give it to me. On 08/20 I was told my and on 08/21 I was told to fill in the financing info. My car is scheduled for delivery on 08/27.

Yeah, I spoke to him today asking him why his price is so much cheaper than everyone else and he explained that he does use a cheaper coating but claims it will still last 2 years. I'm not 100% sure if i'm going to use him yet as I'm looking for something that will last longer than 2 years.

Side note: A guy I know is doing 40% off ceramic coatings if booked before september 1. He lives in the surrey/langley area and does it at his house to help keep his costs down. I was quoted $270 and told it'd take 4 hours. If you're interested in his info, let me know.

If any of you are going to install an aftermarket license plate holder (like I am) you can call the store ahead of delivery and ask them NOT to install the stock front license mount. I was told i'd need to sign something waiving them of liability but it wouldn't be an issue.

They have it in their system now, my wife (who works in insurance) confirmed it.

I called BCAA earlier and was quoted just over $900 for optional insurance. One major difference though was that the other quotes I had included replacement coverage and I didn’t ask for it from BCAA. I will still get it just not sure from who as of yet.

I have a test drive booked for August 30th but I think that my car might actually arrive before. I was hoping to take the test drive to go through any questions about using the vehicle so I don't need to ask them at delivery.

I have the same configuration and was told on Friday a VIN was assigned. On Monday I actually got my VIN and today i've been dealing with financing. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and when it finally does happen, things move fast.

if it's still working for you then your car isn't on it's way. As soon as it stopped working for me, I was able to call Tesla and find out I had a VIN.

In case anyone is wondering, my account does not show my VIN yet. In fact, it doesn't show anything indicating any kind of progress whatsoever. The only way i've gotten any information is by calling Tesla.

Just reached out to Tesla by phone (not the local store)and was given my VIN (757XX) and while on hold received an email from a local delivery person in Vancouver telling me my car is in transit and should arrive at the store late this week to early next week! Now I just need someone to respond...
