Definitely true. I saw mine move up and down half a dozen times before biting the bullet and hitting the BUY button. I got lucky and got it at its lowest. It's like gambling almost! There were a couple of other models I had my eye on and when the price got low enough they got snatched up!

I picked up my CPO just last fall. I ordered it in early June, about a week after they were having their "firesale". There were probably about 180 CPO's in stock back then. Had I found out about the firesale a week earlier I would have gotten an even better deal. Pickins are super slim now.

Got you beat. I've bought TWO sets of wipers for my Leaf and have washed it twice in 2.5 yrs of ownership with only 5 months left on my lease. It takes a beating and keeps on ticking. Nothing breaks on that car (probably because there is nothing to break).
