Any idea on the weight? Are you a dealer? BC has this same wheel and same photos on their "in stock" section for sale right now at $3350. Are the wheels shipping from them or from you?

Anyone know what these boat anchors weigh? I love the design but am afraid of the weight for my SR+.

Manual intermittent only. The "auto" isn't worth it. Doesn't wipe when you want it to, then next thing you know its on high speed. Mist rain seems to confuse it the most. Every now and then I'll try auto again, then within about 3 minutes think why did I do that?

While it may seem like a spaceship it really is just a car. Especially where the suspension is concerned. Any alignment shop can do it.

Mine were silent the first few months or so and then started pinging, usually in the morning as I back out of my driveway. Had already read about it so wasn’t freaked and it doesn’t really bother me. I just say in my head “because race car”. Even if it isn’t.

Seem like for the track (and aesthetics) a 18x9.5 would’ve been better. With a 265/40-18 tire overall diameter would’ve stayed the same.

They will fit but the 21” requires an extremely low profile tire. Like 25 series.

God I want a set of these to squeeze on my model 3! Too bad they weigh a ton and are 21".

They are coil springs for gods sake. Your shocks and struts will blow out before anything ever happens to the springs. You guys are way overthinking this.

I installed Eibach springs on mine and three weeks later installed MPP Comfort coilovers. YMMV. Car rides so much better now.

Strange thing is Eibach lists a different drop for the rear on the two kits. Both kits use exactly the same rear springs.

Always ran H&R on my BMW’s. Quality stuff.

They're made by KW to Mountain Pass Performance's specs. The ride is superb, even lowered. They feel much more controlled and better damped than the stock set up. The shocks/struts feel perfectly matched to the springs on the MPP setup.

If they’re the newer SR specific spring it’s more aggressive in the front. Mine came down almost 1.5” front.

Shouldn’t cost anywhere near $400-$500 to ship these. Most wheel/tire sets I’ve shipped in the past ran around $200 to ship. Cut out cardboard the size of the wheels. Strap two wheels together with the cardboard on the ends. Ship as two packages under one tracking number. FedEx ground or UPS ground.

That’s what I do now but those cute little ramps are sweet! I can get my Arcan low profile jack under the car with a thin pad but now that it’s lowered my safejack stands won’t fit without getting the car up a bit first.

I want those little ramps! Perfect to be able to get the jack under a lowered car!

It looks like the Eibach kit comes with their own brackets for the rear. However, I'd need the rear endlinks which look to be a bit pricey even used on ebay. I'd also need the OEM hardware which who knows how hard that is to track down. I somehow lost one of the nuts off a front swaybar link...

I have a set of Eibach springs in the classifieds for an SR+. 1.4 front drop 1.1 rear. If you install LR springs you will get less drop. They probably are selling the same springs. That’s why LR drops 1” and SR drops .75”.

Not on the rear. Seems like a crazy place to save $100.

Mine didn’t settle. Sort of an urban myth. Put the car on the ground and drive 5 miles or so. Pretty much get what ya got.

Since the SR models don’t have a rear sway bar I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy a used one and install it or should I go straight to Eibach sways at 3X the price? Has anyone installed a sway bar on the rear of their SR? Do I just need the end links? Are all the mounting points...

Bump! Lots of 3’s out there need to be lowered!

Those are about the same measurements my SR+ had. Definitely the exact same in front. Don’t remember on the rear. However my rear passenger side was also higher. Even after Installing Eibach springs and now with my MPP comfort coil overs. Still sits .25” higher on drivers side rear. At least now...

this is also very inaccurate information. Most modern cars have a curb weight of 3600-4000 pounds. Same as our Tesla’s. Some drivers eat up tires likely due to the high torque our motors put out.

The ride quality is decent. Not as good as the coil overs I installed but also much cheaper. The long range front coils did ride a lot nicer than the SR springs which are lower in the front. there are a number of how to installs available online. It isn’t super difficult if you have some...

Far from just ride height. The MPP/KW coilovers also have dampers that are tuned for the springs and the lower ride height. Who care about compression and rebound adjustment unless your car is for the track. Daily drivers probably find one setting and leave it there. I’m installing mine...

Really? The adjustable ones are 50% more expensive. $1600 vs $2400.

I am wrong. Never mind. Went out and looked at mine again and that is the way they go on. Had the angles wrong in my head. Plus, I figured when installed the KW/MPP serial number nameplate would face out not to the inside.
