    2017 75D A/C issue in AZ Summer.

Update... Tesla found that the A/C compressor would turn off when the Air suspension compressor turned on. They added or replaced electrical harness overlay, Part ASY,HRN,MDLS,LHD, JUMPER(1457501-00-A). Took Tesla service several appointments to diagnose properly. Just FYI if anyone has the...

    2017 75D A/C issue in AZ Summer.

Made a service appointment a few months back for an A/C problem that I've been having. The A/C will randomly start blowing warm air for 5-10 minutes, then eventually will start to blow cold. Tesla service ran their A/C diagnostic test and said everything checked out okay. So I picked the car up...

First time CPO experience- 2017 Model S P100D- need some advice :)

I'll make this quick. Bought a 2017 75D with 30K miles in January. Car is in excellent shape, interior was really clean (was a big concern for me) and the exterior has less scratches/rock chips than my 2019 Model 3. Great experience with the delivery team too.

    Used 2016-2017 75D from Tesla

Nice! Thanks for the tip. I'll try and reach out to a used vehicle adviser.

    Used 2016-2017 75D from Tesla

It's advertised as 0-60 in 5.2. Looking through the used inventory, I don't see any 2016s advertised as 4.2 and only a few 2017s. I wonder if they stopped doing the performance boost altogether and your stuck at 5.2 regardless if you purchase one that's eligible or not.

    Used 2016-2017 75D from Tesla

Has anyone that purchased a 2016-2017 75D within the past few months, successfully get Tesla to uncork your car? I wanted to make sure Tesla is still willing to do this before I make a purchase on the older 75Ds.

    SoCal to Phoenix AZ (charging)

If you end up in the East Valley, the Hearne Way Parking Garage in Old Town Gilbert has six or so level 2 chargers on the second level next to the elevators, that are free.

Loud popping sound coming from battery pack

I heard that Tesla is replacing the "Battery Breathers" under warranty. Has anyone had this done? I have a May 2019 SR+ that makes this pop when supercharging.

Tested Dyno Mode on a track

Nice driving! Did you happen to run a lap with Dyno mode off? Just wondering what the difference in lap times would be with on versus off. I heard driving around with Dyno mode on is a good way to damage the differential, did you hear any rumbling sounds from the diff while tracking?

    Rear Window Defroster

My friends 2019 SR+ was doing the same thing. Eventually the heating element made a burn mark and a put a small crack in the glass. Tesla replaced the window under warranty.

Battery coolant does not need to be replaced for the life of your vehicle

BTW Joel, power steering on Teslas are electric so no need to monitor any power steering fluid.

    H&R sport lowering springs.

I went with MPP comfort coilovers. Loving them so far!

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Just installed MPP comfort coilovers on my SR+. It took me around 5 hours to complete. Really nice to get rid of the 4x4 gap. I'm loving these so far. Ride quality is great, feels close to stock. I used MPP recommended ride height measurements for the RWD, for the SR+ those settings put me...

    The elusive thin-walled 13mm socket

I can see having quality tools for tightening the dampener bolts and other bolts that require high torque specs, but the three top nuts are only around 25-30 ft. lbs. So basically anything you can get to fit will do the job.

    The elusive thin-walled 13mm socket

Sorry for the confusion, like Araex said my original link had the 13mm in the set. The top three nuts definitely are 13mm. Also another helpful tip, on the passenger side the nut was offset a tad, I couldn't get the 13mm onto the nut at first, I loosened the other two nuts first then I removed...

    The elusive thin-walled 13mm socket

I used this, fits perfectly. You don't have to grind down a socket. https://www.amazon.com/SABLUE-5-13mm-Adapter-Vanadium-Electric/dp/B07MZ1XT2G/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=13mm+nut+driver&qid=1576384805&sr=8-4

    Severe Hail Storm...but no damage

I was about a mile away from home when I got caught in the craziest hail storm I've ever seen. My Model 3 was getting pounded by nickel sized hail, it hitting the top glass so hard it sounded as if the glass was cracking. I thought for sure I was going to have dents all over the body of the car...

    Calling all lowered SR+ owners

Supposedly unplugged performance is developing proper SR springs. I bought my car in May and getting sick of the 4x4 look. Finally just gave up and ordered MPP coilovers.

Model 3 performance price $1k increase and new black wheels available

Those are all performance model 3s with 20 inch wheels.

Finally!! Eibach has a SR+ lowering spring.

I got tired of waiting and ordered MPP comfort coilovers. Definitely the better way to go anyway.

Eibach Releases Performance Pack Lowering Springs

Same spring, ride height difference is because of the battery weight on the LR.

Eibach Releases Performance Pack Lowering Springs

Look at the part numbers, the LR rwd and the SR+ are the same part number, but they charge more for the LR rwd for some reason. Such a joke! I want a 1" drop front and back for my SR+, so waiting not so patiently until someone releases a proper SR+ spring.
  23. Brady M

Finally!! Eibach has a SR+ lowering spring.

On Eibach's website I noticed they have a standard range plus option on their lowering springs selection. I was excited to get a proper spring for my SR+, I've been waiting a long time and didn't want to settle with a LR rwd spring. Looking into it a little more I noticed the part numbers on...

Vendor Tesla Model 3 SR+ Dyno Test. Faster than LR RWD?

SR is just a nerfed SR+, software lock the range and speed a little, along with some other things like heated seats and some of the speakers.

Eibach Springs on LR vs SR+

Actually the H&R sport springs are for AWD or LR RWD, so similar options to Eibach.

Eibach Springs on LR vs SR+

I've been waiting for the proper SR+ Eibach lowering springs just for that reason, I was thinking the LR Rwd springs wouldn't get me the 1" drop or so I want. I may just go with the H&R springs tho, getting inpatient.

    H&R sport lowering springs.

H&R has had their sport lowering springs out for a few months now, does anyone have them installed on their M3 that can comment on the ride comfort?

Eibach Releases Performance Pack Lowering Springs

You can use the RWD springs on the SR+, but rumor has it they have a SR+ in testing right now and will have a proper part number soon.

    SR+ Lowering Springs

I've seen a few people post pics of their SR+ with LR RWD lowering springs installed, so they will fit just fine.

    Cabin Overheat Protection Not Working

Probably a dumb question but do you have it toggled to A/C? There is a fan only option too. I live in Arizona and when I have it set to fan only, it seems to only cool to around 115 or so. With the A/C on it keeps it around 100 degrees.

    TSportline lowering springs installed

Car is looking good! I'm thinking of installing springs myself too, interested in hearing about the tips you discovered. Is that a dual motor or RWD m3?

    Lowering the Model 3

I noticed you're in Scottdale, I'm looking to lower my SR+ and I live in Chandler. Who installed your springs?
  33. Brady M

    Lowering springs for SR+

Let me know what you decide. I'm looking for no more than an 1"drop. I'm leaning toward the Tsportline springs (0.75").
  34. Brady M

    Lowering springs for SR+

Anyone lower their SR+? Which springs did you go with. It seems Tsportline is the only company offering SR+ springs, which they claim there is a difference between long range RWD and standard range. The weight of the battery pack is the only thing I'm thinking is different, as for suspension...

No products linked to my Tesla account.

Update..The delivery specialist never completed the delivery process through the system. So even though I've had my car for over 6 days now, in the system it looks like I need to still take delivery. Tesla support contacted my delivery specialist and everything should be resolved in less than...

No products linked to my Tesla account.

I've had my SR+ for 5 days now with no problems. Leaving work today I notice my mobile app wanted me to sign in, after doing so I got "sign-in failed no products link to Tesla account" . Luckily I had the card key on me so I could drive home. I tried to reinstall the app and reboot the MCU...
