I think I think it will be a little cheaper. Try spec'ing out a Model Y Performance to include as many options as possible. At around $52K MSRP, $0 down, 10k miles, you're looking at a payment under $600 a month. I suspect that if the 3L is priced around $60K, the lease will be around $700.

I am in this exact predicament. MYP lease coming due and considering M3L vs used plaid. Did you go the used route? If so, have you any hesitations about ownership?

I was thinking the same thing, but I think what Tesla is doing is instead focusing on acceleration above 60 mph. I suppose that 100 hp will more so show in the qtr mile time.

More so dissapointed when the previous gen, which has been out for years, was supposedly a/two tenths of a second slower to 60. Hope we see improved acceleration above 60 to compensate.

My guess is that the 2.9 sec 0-60 is how it will be delivered with "insane" mode. I speculate that there'll be a OTA update shaving another .3 seconds off the 0-60. Hopefully not for more than a few $K. The AB on the LR shaves half a second off for $2K, anywho

I hope so. People here make a point though that it shipping with "insane" mode (per the leaked video of the UI) and not "ludicrous" leads some to believe a later update will bring lud drive mode at an additional cost, similar to the P90D.

DC resident here. OD 10/4. EDD went from 11/23-11/27 to scheduled delivery date of 11/23. Black and blue w/o tow.

Black/Blue MYP ordered 10/4. EDD moved from 11/24-11/26 to 11/18-11/24. Period lengthened but moved forward. Since I already have my vin I’m hoping it comes next week.

I think the appeal of more range, lower operating costs (non-staggered set up) warrants a smaller premium than 10K over the LR.

Interesting. I am currently with Geico and got a quote for $95 a month. ($15 more than I am paying for my SR+ each month). Got a quote from State Farm and they wanted $368 a month for the MYP. 26 years old and a DC resident.

Wondering who lives in moderately cold climate and doesn't plan on getting an extra set of wheels. I live in DC and I drive maybe 2-10 miles per day with the option of staying put on days when we do get some snow/extreme cold. Would it still be recommended that I get aftermarket wheels?

No chance the AWD M3 has 447 HP. The performance has a little more than that to the wheels.

OD 10/4 here. Also picking up in Rockville. Same delivery window which surprises me given you ordered almost a full month before me.

Adding a datapoint. OD for my MYP was 10/5. Received VIN today and it was a 2021 MY. EDD 11/14-11/28. SA told me that there are no changes being made at the outset of the 2022 model year but cars produced in May/June os '22 will likely start to see some updates (4680).

MYP ordered 10/5. Blue on black (regret not going grey but the price has since been hiked) and EDD has been 11/14-12/12 since I ordered. Confident this will likely move as people here who ordered well before me are seeing their dates pushed back.

Update- cameras were fully calibrated at the ~200 mile mark, about 150 of which were highway driving. Definitely longer than usual but happy it is working!
