FYI delivery timelines have blown out to 8-12 weeks for new orders (updated on Tesla website earlier today). Longest delivery wait since switching to China builds.

Australia/NZ are expecting arrival of refreshed Model 3s in approx 3 weeks ... feels like one of the first, if not the first, region to receive them given MIC Model 3s for Europe only left China today.

I was speaking with another TOCA member yesterday and we feel that it is possible that Australia/NZ will be the first globally to receive the refreshed Model 3s (due in approx 3 weeks). Would be an interesting turn of events as we generally look to US for the latest Tesla update videos/articles.

Thankfully, and appropriately, not for Australia yet. Of interest - does anyone have reliable confirmation that all 2021 US Model 3s now have a heat pump?

Although I was thinking today that its impressive that it will be cheaper than a P100D ~3 years ago. (Realised this as noticed that a new Performance is cheaper than a 75D in 2017).

Congratulations EcoCloud. Great result. How long was it for sale? There are always exceptions to the rule ... and 'less educated' Tesla buyers (which isn't hard given the plethora of specification changes). The sale of one vehicle with limited depreciation does not a market make. Just 31%...

I don't disagree that original purchase prices were higher, but unfortunately that doesn't (or at least shouldn't) determine used values. Used values are generally a spread from current new prices ....when new prices fall so will used, otherwise the incentive to buy used isn't there. Likewise...

Having just sold our second family ICE vehicle (literally yesterday) I am now in the market for another Tesla. Still dismayed at the used pricing .... 4/5 year old vehicles still advertised @ ~60% of the 'new' value of much improved vehicles (e.g. 2015 S70D for $70k + stamp duty vs. new s75D...

I could be wrong, but I suspect the seller looked at the other 'way overpriced' Model X for sale (the black one for ~$185k). The stamp duty on $178k would put it into X P100D new vehicle territory! I'm thinking the used market will continue like this for a few more months

Aren't you excluding the cost of wheels in your calcs? New Raven with wheels is $158k in NSW. Certainly priced better than a lot of vehicles on Carsales (some are laughable), although on reflection if it's an early 2018 then perhaps it should be cheaper. When questioning the seller doesn't...

@paulp - had mine transferred in about 2 hours. Seems unusual that you are waiting so long. Agree with most regarding pricing .... have been watching used values since Feb/March and we are only now seeing realistic pricing and some sales. The white 2018 S 100D just advertised on Carsales...

Was that SR+, LR, P- or P+?

The most recent sale I've seen is a white 2017 X100D @ $100k. Unsure if member car, but sat for sale for ages and was then reduced and sold quickly. A 2017 X P100D with all options ticked sold for approx $130k ... so agree that the above is too expensive.

Also had solar and PW2 installed 1 August. Very impressed so far. Only used 80kwh this month and sent 190kwh back to the grid. With any luck our bill will just be the standing daily charge. Payback is much better when factoring the use of an EV (even of considering EV using just grid).
