    Cracked Rear Fog Lamp

Anyone know how much it is to replace the rear fog lamp? Both in parts and labour, Tesla or Independent? Got a cracked lamp and though it doesn't need replacing would like to see how much it is to get it swapped out.

Battery drain while parking at Gatwick

I parked my M3 LR in Luton AP for 10 days (Sentry mode off). Didn't use the App, came back to only about 10-20 miles of range gone for the 10 days. One thing that I did do was I use the Tezlab App, which has is Deep Sleep Assist which is said to help get the M3 into Deep SLeep Mode sooner...

    Andersen scraps WiFi?

Sorry for me the JuiceBox is the most visually challenging EVSE charger. It looks like someone done in a tech and design project in school. It's got a great feature set though. I thought the same thing, get a JuiceBox and a smart enclosure. Ended up with an Andersen as I couldn't find the latter.

There is an option of 8m (+£80) if you need it. The 3-phase cable is 6.5m.

    Best home charger

JuiceBox is definitely a marmite charger. Straight off the set of Stranger Things! Great feature set. Thought about instead of the Andersen getting that and a box to hold the cable & hide the charger in.

    Best home charger

I've heard from a couple of people that Rolec installs typically come in at about £400. So the Andersen is just over double the price.

    1) Wired straight through. It helped the Consumer unit was on the other side of the wall! 2) Wi-Fi. Installers had TP-Link Network Power Adaptors as a backup. At first the installers couldn't get it working on the network at all. (New Andersen units use Bluetooth to start the registration...

    Best home charger

Hi all, Just had my Andersen fitted. Will do a full review of the process at some point later. Main thing is it doesn't look like a charger and it fits in much better than the 16A Commando plug next to it! Baldrick PS glad that people are still liking and using my Chargers Sheet PPS Delivery...

Tesla Wall Connector - Type B / Type A-EV RCD

Good choice, I did the numbers and the "crossover" point to move from from Octopus Go to EDF EV tariff is around 5-6 hours of charging a night. I based mine solely on EV charging and you are right, could have maybe saved a bit more taking other factors into account. (FYI I went with Octopus Go)

    Park Assist

I will add that as it's a Graphical Interface, it might have changed since the video and/or it might change in the future. Have a look at first generation Model S GUIs to show how much things have changed!

    Park Assist

When reversing you get a rear camera view. For the other directions you get a visualisation of the distance to obstacles. If you look at this AutoPark video, when AutoPark comes off at the end you will see the Park Assist distances appear as lines around the model 3 with distances in inches to...

    External speaker

Cycling in London I can tell you AVAS is very useful. EV's and Hybrids going at slow speeds are hard to hear at the best of times. AVAS helps a lot. Home charging options

See if they will go with a 32A Commando (or 16A at a push) socket. Bit more palatable. The 32A Commando adaptor for the UMC 2 is about £34 I've heard. Though the UMC 2 isn't as good as a dedicated charger it'll do at a push. (In the US a lot of people just have a UMC and NEMA plugs that go to...

    Home charging options

Quite a few do. Column O of my sheet covers it EVSE Options the main challenge is not all charger manufactures document it well. FYI if you have space capacity you could just put the 2nd charger on a fresh 32A feed. Entirely possible if you have a 100A fuse and no other main large loads in the...

Tesla Wall Connector - Type B / Type A-EV RCD

It looks like that Tesla need to update their home charger. As all other manufacturers are putting DC protection into the charger, and not upping the cost of the units dramatically in the process. It's been commented by many it's cheaper to do inside the charger rather than externally. FYI I've...

Model 3 Performance - without performance pack vs with performance pack

From what I recall the Performance Pack includes the spoiler which when added to the car, can unlock the higher top speed. See below for the process. I think it also includes tyres, lowered suspension, maybe better brakes (or brakes painted red, that makes them better doesn't it?)

Hi, I was wondering if someone who has a new RHD Model 3 could confirm the tyres they have got with it (brand, type, size etc)? Ideally I'm looking for the info for the 18" tyres (ideally LR model) but would be interested as to what has been provided for all variants. Originally (first...

    Tesla Model 3 Navigation

I suspect, as in no evidence whatsoever, that with the regulations Tesla didn't amend it's software to work best with the regulation, instead it amended it to work to the letter of the regulation. Put it this way if Tesla had created a "wait until there is a space then indicate" bit of code...

    More Uk-bound Ships?

No it was UK only and focused on the UK order number. Had a nice graph curve or orders versus days showing the mad order rush for the first few days. Quick question. We are all guessing, but anyone with a trade-in got a date/Vin/Car/ETA? I'm trading in you see (maybe it's that...)

    Andersen scraps WiFi?

My read is similar. I suspect that a lot of users just use their standard Wi-Fi on their free router from their ISP and don't realise that you get exactly what you pay for, especially on a piece of equipment doing connectivity, NAT & DNS Proxy (thanks VM) and WiFi for around £30-40 item cost...

    More Uk-bound Ships?

The Triumph Ace's capacity is 5059 (From HERE). It's for all of Europe, however we (as in UK with RHD cars) are still dealing with the initial "Ramp up" from the launching of the orders so most likely the demand from us with be disproportionately higher compared to the rest of Europe. My guess...
