Is anyone else noticing a low droning or humming noise when turning moderately or sharply at low speeds? Like at a round-a-bout or car parks, or just a tight 90 degree turn. There is also a very slight vibration in the steering wheel. I can't tell if it's just tire noise, or something else...

I don't think you'll have a choice to start with. I called up Access Canberra and they told me I would be issued with the standard plate on the spot. If I want any different kind of plates, I'd have to order them afterwards. I think I'll go with the slim black ones.

No - the inverter should have a RCD built in. You're thinking about this all wrong. The RCD on your switch board is for devices in your home that consume power.

Canberra customer, ordered a P-. With a hidden VIN of 5YJ3F7EB6KF4992xx. Have been repeatedly told to expect August delivery...but that high range VIN number doesn't bode well!

When I called them, I was told the car will be delivered and registered in the ACT. They never said anything about having to register it myself. Tesla website says there is a service centre coming soon to Canberra, so perhaps they already have the necessary dealer licenses.

Not true. Just called Tesla. They said the car will be delivered to the ACT, despite what the website says. You won't need to go to Sydney for picking up the car. They are still working out if it will be some sort of delivery hub in Canberra, or direct to your address.

For the Model 3 performance. 35 year old male driver with no accidents. CBA insurance quoted me $2159 with $850 excess (and uninsured for under 30s ticked). RACV is a bit cheaper at $1918 with $815 excess. And that's with no multiyear discount.
