I think they are OK. Comparing to a 3 series I had before, I miss the ability to extend the length of the seat to support under my legs.
That's the only downside I've found, but comfort wise they are nice.
As already mentioned, create a service appointment in the app.
I had the same problem, and it turned out I was not showing as 'delivered' on their system, so they don't push updates out automatically.
I don't know what you want me to say hahaha, I'm using Spotify in the car while I drive and it's not signed in (shows a 'Sign in' button at the bottom right corner). I don't get adverts and I can choose any song from a list, which means it's premium in my eyes.
Well I'm using the 'free 12...
I have both Premium Connectivity (Long Range) and Spotify Premium. You do not need Spotify premium (or even a Spotify account at all) to use Spotify in the car. I did sign in, but then realised that if I was playing music in the house, and opened the car door, it would stop playing in the house...
I had issues on Saturday (7th), and was unable to charge. The EV app was telling me the car was connected and charging, even though nothing was plugged in (I then turned the charger off completely, yet the app still thought it was charging). Whether I plugged it in or not, the app state didn't...
Received a text this morning from them, they've pushed an update out manually to the car. I now have 36.2.1 (up from 27.103).
Still not the latest, but close enough for now.
Thanks for the advice.
Edit - Could anyone give me an overview of what have I gained from going from 27.103 to 36.2.1...
I do actually use RainX, so as you say I don't need the wipers.
I don't, but I would guess under the removable plastic panel, it comes off really easy.
Quick update. Got it back today.
The culprit? A plug had come loose/disconnected to the wiper motor. Possibly not fully inserted during build, and by driving it worked itself loose.
It was literally a 10 min fix, and not one they’d ever seen before.
So, check your cables/wiring if it...
I’m sorry you’re only just realising this.
To the thousands sat with unmatched VINs for the last few months will agree unfortunately.
In theory inventory shouldn’t exist as they should either be matched to existing (waiting) orders, or, contact existing orders and ask if they’d swap to it...
Enterprise Rentals just emailed me, looks like they are delivering a car to me at 8am tomorrow.
Would much rather I had another Tesla as a courtesy, but at least I'm mobile while they fix it.
Roadside assistance have reported there's a wiper motor error notification at their side. The timestamp fits in with when I noticed it too.
Currently waiting for the car to be scheduled in for collection (tonight/tomorrow morning) as I can't drive it there in the rain.
Well I have 36 days/nights to wait until an appointment, so we'll find out :D
When you say powering it down, do you mean pressing the 'power off' button in the settings, and literally leaving it like that overnight? Or just not touching it overnight after parking?
This has only been a problem...
I'm a few days into ownership, and today when needing to use the wipers, they won't work at all (they did work the other day).
Unless I'm missing something here, but the stalk will do a single wipe and wash the windows? That does nothing. And the on screen 'card' toggles between different...
How have you got on, Ant? As linked to above, I had the same issue.
Do you hear a click/bang when it goes green? Are you being forceful? As I mention in my topic, giving it a good thump / push into the port works for me every time.
I had this exact same dilemma. Bought the kit, then when I saw the car, loved the Aero wheels.
I'm totally torn now, as I think the Aero wheels add a futuristic look, but the alloys add a sporty look, I like both:
Same happened to me, Churchill came in the cheapest @ ~£460, next being well over £1k.
LV were the cheapest 2 months ago for me, now quoting £600 more.
That's terrible! Do they have stalls available there you can use while setting the car up?
Fortunately mine had 245 miles on it when I collected. Doesn't help you though.
Thanks. I've reset my WiFi (4 bars), done a soft reset and still says 'up to date'.
I've now taken your advice and requested an appointment. Fingers crossed for a reply soon.
Ok so an update. Kind of.
Firstly, no one called me back. Incredible really.
The next day I I tried again, and it worked first time. Then the next day it failed again. I've realised that if I gently push it in it doesn't work, but if I apply more pressure when connecting, it works every time...
Picked up my LR last week, and loving it. But wanted to give a little overview of my experience ordering through ZenAuto:
August 22nd - Ordered (signed) - was told October delivery.
September 6th - Showed up in my Tesla account (after 14 days cooling off?).
October 14th - Was told there's a...
You're right, it could still be the car I guess. Although it was charged before collection.
I don't personally know anyone else with a Rolec charger or a Tesla (or even an EV) that I can test with. I've seen another M3 around the village, so might have to track who it is ...
Thanks for that, it's already setup (the EV app can see the charger, and the app can see when I plug it into the car).
Putting my serial number in shows "You cannot commission a Charge Point which has already been commissioned.".
Currently waiting for call backs from all 3 of them.
Picked up my LR today. Awesome car. 80% charged.
Got home (~80 miles) and plugged it straight into my tethered Rolec charger to ensure it worked as intended.
Getting the error:
Charging equipment fault - try different charging equipment.
I’ve tried the Tesla supplied 3-pin and it works...
This is only from what I was told when I called Tesla earlier this month.
They mentioned my car would be in the UK around 16/17th November, and since the Jasper was delayed a few days earlier in the month, I predict this must be the boat I'm on.
If you have a VIN, you could call and get a...
You can definitely ignore that estimate on the tesla website. Buying through the website/through a lease company will be no different. You’ll get an RN number and join the queue in the same way.
Really good question.
I’m not sure how accurate this is (maybe someone can use some other car figures to see it’s accuracy) but putting 1,800 kg weight and a 4.4 second to 60 (or should that be 62?) it suggests 489 bhp for the LR. And 316 bhp for the SR.
0-60, 0-100 & 1/4 Mile Calculator ...
