Will my PMY have the new battery packs/AMD chip?

Ordered early April, EDD late June - early July. Saw lots of improvements expected from MYs out of TX factory (AMD chip, battery packs, etc). Will mine have it? Also read somewhere that performance model Ys will have priority, is that true?
  2. CoryARamirez

Will adding a tow hitch delay my order / change EDD?

Curious if anyone knows? I ordered a MYP last week and current EDD is June 10th - July 20th. Was hoping to add a toe hitch!
  3. CoryARamirez

EXISTING vehicle orders will not include the mobile charging connector (per delivery advisor)

Pretty trash move IMO. New orders, fine. Existing? Come on. Chat with Tesla advisor.
  4. CoryARamirez

Elon stops providing mobile connector/says “you're on your own”

Not a cool take dude, lol. We're all Tesla fans here, this decision is just stupid.

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Shoot, I just turned 30. Looks like I’m out of luck 😭
  7. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

I feel like if I were to end up wrapping, it would def be just PPF the front, and maybe spending some serious DIY time ceramic coating myself. Who knows, though. Hoping I have the funds to get a little decent garage remodel where I can store my MY in the next 6 months or so.
  8. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Having a Tesla isn't a money flex? Let's be honest, now. Quality wrapping, PPF, ceramic coating is expensive if you want it to last. Make it make sense
  9. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Any advice for someone who wants to start doing professional level detailing to their own car? :)
  10. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Agreed! Will be my approach, too. I can't fathom dropping $7-$10k on a quality PPF + ceramic coating install. With proper maintenance, washes, waxes, clay bars, etc, I'm hoping to keep it in good condition. I'd rather save that chunk of cash for my next vehicle, lol.

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

Why did you get a MY out of curiosity?
  12. CoryARamirez

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

I’m sure the same could be said about engines for ICE vehicles too lol. Got a source out of curiosity? Also, why you so pessimistic to everyone about Tesla lol

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

Has there been any news on what’s coming in the 2023 EV6 refresh?
  14. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Of course not, but after 4 years or ownership and I’m planning on keeping the vehicle? Sure why not. PPF might not even last that long and will start peeling/lifting. Coating would need to be reapplied too. Doesn’t make economic sense to me
  15. CoryARamirez

Why pay for PPF & ceramic coating when you can just repaint?

Title. I’ve been thinking about this a lot considering how pricey reputable PPF/ceramic coating installations are. You could find reputable body shops to repaint the vehicle for a similar price! E: title should read “coating” not “costing”. Sorry!

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

Would be cool to see Tesla implement some form of a loyalty program like BMW/Lexus, even if it’s a small little $500 rebate lol. I’m sure there’s lots of multiple modes owners out there.
  17. CoryARamirez

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

Tesla is adjusting the prices on the market, full stop. Whether or not it’s uniform is a different discussion. There still doing it, and the recent price hikes (and those to come after the SR Y is on the website), are / will be proof of that.
  18. CoryARamirez

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

    Estimated EDD removed from app?

Hey friends! In the app, the button used to show my EDD of June 26th - Aug 7th and I could click it to view my completed tasks. Now, the button just says “View” and takes me to the web page with no new tasks to complete, or revised date. Has this happened to anyone else? I ordered a MYP red on...

Carvana just offered $68,300 for my 2021 MY LR!!!!!!

I sold my 18 MS 75D (no FSD) with 74k miles to Carvana on Sunday for $65k before they fixed the “glitch”. I jumped on that offer and reserved a MYP. Dang I got lucky.
  29. CoryARamirez

Do you think Tesla prices will go up, down or stay the same?

I really hoped Tesla wouldn’t do this. What is even the point? This is total Apple not including the charging plug bs.
  30. CoryARamirez

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

Stop. Don’t make my cancel my MYP and get a hybrid lol
  31. CoryARamirez

Do you think Tesla prices will go up, down or stay the same?

You’d be right, I’m only 30 so I have only experience this really. Haha.
  32. CoryARamirez

Do you think Tesla prices will go up, down or stay the same?

Hasn’t that already happened? Rate hikes?
  33. CoryARamirez

Do you think Tesla prices will go up, down or stay the same?

Have a MYP on order as of a week ago, missed the opportunity to buy before the price increase 😢 Has me thinking, what’s the price forecast over the next 2-5 years? Are people buying now overpaying once the market cools down?
  34. CoryARamirez

Carvana offered me $65k for my 2018 Model S 75D with 74.5k miles. EAP, 21” slipstreams, premium accessory package. This can’t be real?

Nah, I think recent price glitch broke Carvanas algo and now they’re making it be more conservative lol

They will buy out your lease and give you the difference if there’s equity. If your upside down, you have to come in with the difference during the sale.

This!!! It’s crazy. Not to mention how close competitors are getting on AP functionality.
  46. CoryARamirez

Tesla Model Y Standard Range AWD to be priced at $59,990 USD

I just reserved a PMY (red on white, no hitch or FSD) and it was $69,970. I almost didn’t want to do it. I’m in fact thinking about the BMW i4 or other competitors right now.. Love Tesla, but with Tesla vision causing a regression in AP functionality and other competitors catching up in that...
