Will adding a tow hitch delay my order / change EDD?

Curious if anyone knows? I ordered a MYP last week and current EDD is June 10th - July 20th. Was hoping to add a toe hitch!

The service center can install a tow hitch for a few hundred dollars more than the factory price.

Just plug it in. All wiring should be present.

Only from the factory. For DYI the tow hitch and electrical are two separate purchases and installs, although it is best to install the hitch and wiring at the same times.

You’re right. I was thinking of the X. All of those come pre-wired.

Another point to consider is you will need the software to be updated to include “tow mode”. Meaning it’s probably best to go with the post-delivery option directly from Tesla if you plan on doing anything other than attaching a bike rack.
