Yeah I’ve always thought the aero wheels rode harsher than the 19” or 20”. I think it’s the super low rolling resistance MXM4s that contribute to the harshness. Either that or the P3D+ has softer springs and dampers to compensate for larger wheels and smaller sidewalls.

Just picked up my Performance 3. It does look nice in the black with white. I’m happy. It drives so well. I really think this car rides softer than our LR AWD with Aero wheels.

I also meant to add that our first 3 was delivered just a few days before the tax credit expired so I’m not sure if Tesla was scrambling more than usual to get them here, but it took us exactly two weeks to get the first car.

I ordered a white/white P3D+ with FSD on 7/24. I still have no VIN. When we ordered our first LR 3D a month and a half ago we didn’t get vin until three days before delivery. I’m hoping tomorrow I’ll get vin assignment and pick up Friday or Saturday, but who knows. I’m in Raleigh NC.
