Home Delivery in NH (Carrier Direct)

The car came today, I got a text 30 minutes out from the delivery driver. I did a quick inspection, and I'm happy with it so far. There were a few minor issues that, if it weren't for a checklist, I wouldn't have even noticed, so I'm not going to worry about them. The car is pretty dirty, I need...

Home Delivery in NH (Carrier Direct)

Well, home delivery has been a nightmare so far. They never reach out with updates first, I have to message to get any information, even when they say they'll give me an update. Wednesday 2/15 They told me they're assigning a truck and they expect delivery to be Friday, Saturday at the latest...

    Buying from New Hampshire

Even if you have it shipped to your home, it still comes from NJ. I'm arguing with them because they said cars that go to MA come with mudflaps and rear PPF, but because my car goes to NJ it will not, even though the actual delivery location is in NH. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

    Buying from New Hampshire

Staying with Eversource means 20.2 cents per kWh until August when the next price adjustment happens. You could either sign up for a cheaper 6 month contract with one of the other suppliers or sign up for a longer one that does not have an ETF, then reassess when the next price update happens...

    Buying from New Hampshire

As far as I'm aware, New Hampshire Electric Co-op (NHEC) offers the only rebates, and you need to be a customer. Since you mentioned Eversource, I think you're out of luck there. I've had a model 3 since 2019 and have the Y on order, registration for the 3 cost me $570 this past year if that...

2023 Model Y Custom Order Wait Time

Yes, I didn't have a choice in the location. MA has some weird tax stuff so I can't pickup from there myself, I don't know why it can't be delivered from there though.

    Buying from New Hampshire

I placed an order on the 15th, sales guy told me delivery would be free as I'm within 200 miles of a delivery center. Just received my VIN today and the options are now pickup in NJ or pay $750 for delivery. They won't budge on the delivery fee even though I have it in email from the sales...

2023 Model Y Custom Order Wait Time

Received my VIN today along with the ability to schedule pickup in NJ, clicking on the link shows only 2 available days which are Feb 13th or 14th, though my EDD updated to 2/15 - 2/24. As expected, they are now saying it's $750 to have it delivered, even though my sales person told me there...

2023 Model Y Custom Order Wait Time

I'm in the lakes region of NH, sales person told me they would deliver for free as we're within 200 miles of a service center, but I have my doubts. MYLR White Ext. \ Black Int. 20" Order: 1/15 EDD: 2/9 - 3/16 In 2019 I picked up my M3 from NY, but it doesn't seem like that is an option...

Tesla poor service --> any advice on recourse?

I'm in the same situation, if you're getting Tesla you are the project manager. I've had my system turned on since install so PTO hasn't really affected me in any way beyond Tesla screwing it up like everything else they've done on my project. My utility company CC'd me saying the meter in the...

Two weeks with inopererable powerwalls, starting to get why people say Tesla support is lacking

Tesla finally called to schedule service today, the earliest date is next Thursday (8 days out) so not that bad in terms of scheduling. Overall though it will be just over a month from when I initially reported the issue to when they come out to fix it. That 3-5 days they told me when opening...

Wait times for Tesla to schedule inspection with city (solar/powerwall)

Follow up with your town, don't trust what Tesla says. I can't even count the number of times they told me the project was waiting on X just to find out they either lost stuff, didn't submit it, or a 'glitch' happened. Regarding inspection, they were supposedly waiting on the inspector to get...

Two weeks with inopererable powerwalls, starting to get why people say Tesla support is lacking

I'm currently experiencing a similar issue. Had 3 Powerwalls installed, 2 are not working (never worked), the level 1 phone person confirmed he could see them but 2 out of the 3 were just not charging\discharging. The lights are solid green on all 3 and I tried doing the reset troubleshooting...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Just a final update on this topic. Utility (Eversource) replaced the transformer within 2 weeks of receiving payment from Tesla. I was outside watching them replace the transformer and contacted Tesla once completed, they still refused to pass it on to install without confirmation from...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

I just received a reply that makes no sense to me, on the plus side of things it didn't take a week to get this: He didn't answer my question as to why they already asked me if I wanted to install prior to the upgrade in order to take advantage of the tax credit. Besides that question not...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Eversource didn't specify if it was new or a refurb, maybe once they receive the check from Tesla and schedule the work they'll provide more info? I'm so frustrated with Tesla, we're now entering Oct and this is what they sent me on Friday (a week later) after I told them I want an install date...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

This is what they sent me last week: I talked to Eversource on Friday and they told me that once payment is received the transformer upgrade would be completed within 15 business days. I'm not sure where Tesla is getting the 12-28 week time frame from. They also have not received the check...

    Advisor Reachout

Stay on top of them, don't assume they're doing anything. They've submitted incorrect paper work, "lost" emails, mis-read emails, and overall have been terrible to work with. If I just sat back and let the process go by itself I'd be getting solar installed in 2022 sometime. I'm sure I've had...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Just posting an update, after my request being 'lost', then my account specialist not actually reading my emails the request made it to the right dept and they approved paying for the upgrade. So Tesla will be paying for my transformer upgrade, however, I'm now concerned that the mismanagement...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Update, I heard back from Tesla: I'll update again when I hear back, I guess it doesn't hurt to ask for this 'review' if you end up in a similar situation. I think it's just myself and one other house, I know I use a lot. My average monthly usage is about 2,500 kWh and Sense says my average...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Here's a screen shot from the drawings page: 2020-08-15_16-35-49 Looks like two inverters 1: SolarEdge SE10000H-US 11,400W 2: SolarEdge SE7600H-US 7,600W I emailed the generic Tesla energy address asking about it since the phones are closed on weekends, also asked about the dedicated...

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

Would it be in my docs section? Looking at the interconnect app it says 36.4kW facility (Max AC Rating) talking about my house. I have a 200A service. The only thing I can find mentioning the transformer was the email they sent saying it has a max of 15 kVA.

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

It's a 21.42 kW System with 3 Powerwalls. I'm in New Hampshire with Eversource for my utility company. Seems like the consensus is to just pay for it, I'll mention it to Tesla but won't push for it if they deny. Thanks for the feedback!

Utility Transformer Upgrade - Burden of Cost?

After almost a year of trying to get solar installed I thought we were at the finish line until I got CC'd on an email from my utility company. The email stated I had 2 weeks to respond with whether I'm requesting a quote or downgrading the system, so I responded right away for a quote...

    Solar Panel Options?

I've had my ups and downs with the solar team at Tesla for almost a year now and am about to finally place my order if they ever update it for hidden conduit (waiting over a week for this alone). Almost a year ago they quoted the Q.PEAK DUO BLK-G5 and seems that is what they're still using. I...

    Proposal Review

Thank you for the replies and information! The panels will be pretty close to east\west, looking out the front door of my house is @ 290 degrees. I don't have any issues with shade. As far as I know they don't offer production guarantees anymore, at least it doesn't show any guarantee in the...
