Ha yes - but after this burst of excitement I now only have 1 set of the £75's left!
A fresh batch of TEN of the £150 cabin sets finished today though ;p
(And thank you ALL again... It's very humbling!)
So. Much. This.
For everything it would seem. And very little difference between the $10 and $100 versions of so many things.
Really starting to appreciate the differences in products that have been designed from scratch.
Hoping to be ready for the weekend!
Parcelforce made a HUGE mixup and at least five orders of full sets were delivered to people who'd only ordered cabin sets.
So I've had to replace those five, lost frunk and trunk mats first
So I'm a little behind
But this weekend is the plan!
Should anyone be looking for a slightly cheaper RHD floor mat for your Model 3 - I've just this evening put our new 'Executive' mat live on www.alternateflux.com for £75 including UK shipping.
:)
Okay...
So people have asked for a cheaper, slightly less luxury version of the Alternate Flux, right-hand-drive mats and so...
Here we are - the Alternate Flux, Executive line :)
£75.00 for a cabin set.
Just FIVE sets available within this first batch... (testing the waters!)
The...
If you are brave enough to take it to an automatic wash, I would advise a little practice in getting the car into Neutral first.
A *friend* told me that it can be quite embarrassing if you are the reason that the whole place shuts down for 10 minutes because you don't know how to put your car...
This has literally made my weekend - and it's only Friday night! :D So, SO pleased that you're happy!
And it's great seeing them out in the wild and being used. Wonderful!
FINAL TWO SETS of batch 2...
1 x WHITE stitching
1 x BLUE stitching

Fantastic - thank you!
We have one set of blue, one set of white and one final set of black in stock! So we can ship those asap!
(Anything else needs a new batch being produced which could take upto five days depending on the level of interest).
Ah ok... I find it so strange that the rubber ones are more expensive and regarded as 'an upgrade'. I think if I can get www.alternateflux.com to provide rubber ones, they'll very much be a cheap and cheerful option (because the 3D and fitted mat options seem like the way to go for those who...
Thanks man, really appreciate that.
Yeah, recycled materials might be a good way to go BUT most people seem put off with the price over anything, and that would almost certainly increase the cost :/
Yep, they come with standard mats, standard.
Ours a little more thicker in the pile and - for the full set - include a Frunk and a massive boot liner too.
When you say all-weather, do you mean 'rubber'? Because these are 'weatherproof' (i.e. can withstand a lot of muck and rain without...
All outstanding orders have been shipped this morning via Parcelforce and should be with their owners by the end of play tomorrow! :)
Thanks again ALL for your support and I really do hope you like them. And please SEND PICS of them in your pride and joy!
ALSO:
I have TWO sets of ALL BLACK and...
Hey... If you want to drop an email to [email protected] I'll see if I can work out a decent shipping cost to Australia.
(I use Parcelforce/Royal Mail here in the UK so hopefully it won't be too extortionate!)
That's a good question and I think the answer at the moment is that nobody knows at all right now.
And even if it did, it would likely change very quickly soon after.
The aeros are literally plastic circles. Just a nice box on a garage shelf away from dust will be fine.
Unless you're thinking about carrying them with you in the car at all times perhaps?
I had a two week wait and a 40 mile drive to get a non-functional brake light unit replaced. Not ideal but once there the process was slick enough.
And agree re wind noise at 70mph plus. I've taken collection of some window seals and door rubbers, so am hoping they'll help a little.
I can't get mine produced (or even buy in and rebrand imports) for that price.
I think it's probably a case of 'you pays your money, you makes your choice'.
Maybe I'll order some and have a look to see, thanks for the heads-up.
In a word: Yes. This is normal. For Tesla.
You'll get a text or email 24 hours or so before with your reg number. I would recommend getting a quote in principal and agreed to by your insurer of choice, so that you can pick it up with them the moment you get your reg number.
It's a pain, but it...
Have you tried Drive Electric? I know they had to revise their prices upwards (post the July increase), but they did me a great 2 year deal on an SR+ over 12,000 miles.
My pre-collection experience was horrendous (as above: no communication, no way of replying to random delivery date issues etc).
BUT my actual delivery day was a breeze. In fact, I'd go so far as to see that it was exactly as I would expect.
(Except no biscuits - as I have already discussed in...
Could I ask what was wrong with your rubber mats? (Other than them being rubber).
People keep asking me for rubber mats and whilst I don't personally see the appeal, I'd like to know if a basic, similar template set would be worthwhile or not?
(I have a sample set being delivered for me to...
Sorry :/ The stitching is only available on the cabin only sets for now.
I *may* be able to do something for the full sets in the future, but for now I can't afford to produce 'coloured' sets until I can be sure of the demand (I've literally spend my last savings on materials etc).
If you...
Thanks - I really appreciate that. I have to be honest and say that it was never my intention to launch a floor mat business, but I'm quite enjoying the extra-curricular activity at the moment ;p
Yes, these are the same spec as the ones before BUT I now also have the option for body-coloured...
Sorry, these will - of course - fit the whole range.
It's more of a case of SR+ owners not getting *any* mats at all, so they tend to be more in need (as I was) :)
Haha, it all got a little out of control last time (my intention was never to turn this into a business), and I was 'told off' for commercial opportunism, so I've gone 'legit' and paid my vendor fees this time :)
It's all legal and above board now Sir, I promise!
Fantastic - and yes, second batch all on track for delivery next week. Quite excited to get them out of the door and into more people's hands.
And I'd really value an honest review and photos if possible too - so thanks for considering that too! :)
Hi All,
You may know me by my previous username of @PistonsDead. In my previous life a quest for a premium set of right-hand-drive floor mats for my SR+ resulted in me producing my own and then a few sets for members of this forum.
That foray into floor mat manufacturing has now turned into...
Hi Pete,
Perhaps I could help re: UK shipping/retailing?
Could we have a chat? (Can't figure out DMs on here, so apologies in advance to everyone else in this thread).
:)
Yep. Phantom triggers, random recordings and incidents that should have been captured but haven't been.
Sentry mode is very much beta in my experience.
