RN from day one (order day) and nothing else useful as you say, including when the hidden VIN appeared. Only changed once I got the date for collection - which tbf was the day after hidden VIN...

I ordered 13th August (LeasePlan). Hidden VIN appeared 2 days ago, email yesterday asking me to collect on Monday 30th Sept. P+, Red/White.

How did you find out - they call/email? Or when you arrived?!

Long time listener, first time caller.... Hidden VIN appeared for me for the first time in the last 12 hours. I think I've read here that they are assigned when loaded onto a ship (in the US?!) which doesn't square with the idea that nothing else is on the way from US at the current time/before...
