18" Aero wheels and Model Y load limits

Wow, that's great efficiency, the 70mph is almost as energy efficient as my model 3 AWD before I trading it in for the Model Y I have now. Thanks for sharing the detailed results, enjoy your Model Y! I am tempted to do the same change as you did, but I am not handy....

18" Aero wheels and Model Y load limits

Very impressed! Did you change the wheel/tires yourself? Where did you get the Model 3 18" wheels? I am thinking of doing that, but I am not handy.... Also for the range, could you do a drive at 70mph? People seemed to get pretty consistent ~260-270wh/mile for the MY AWD with the stock 19"...

    MYP Range 273??

you may want to drive your MY till 20-30% and let it stay at this level for a few hours for recalibration, you could then charge it to 90%. You should be able to see the display range coming back. This is the trick I learned from someone here and it worked for my M3 before trading it in.

    MYP Range 273??

Hi Thanks for sharing your story! I have my MY for 700 miles now and I currently have a lifetime energy consumption of 268 Wh/mile with gentle driving. I hope to see it dropping a bit in another few hundred miles.

    MYP Range 273??

you got amazing wh/mile. What's your typical highway speed? Do you notice any high initial wh/mile (first ~1000 miles) and then range improvement after the break-in period (first ~1000 miles)?

    MYP Range 273??

I charged to 308 mile to start. The temp is 45-55F. I did my first leg of 184 mile to a supercharger with 83 mile left. So your number is close to what I saw with my trip yesterday/today

    MYP Range 273??

I concur with your friend. I live in Texas and just came back from a road trip of 240 miles one way with MY. With 326 miles rated range and mild weather (60-70F), I thought I could manage the trip w/o supercharging. But I immediately found that even with very careful driving, I mean top at...

Surprised you got such a good offer for whole bumper replacement. I got a quote today for front bumper replacement of $900 parts +130 labor = $1030. Does anybody get similar price recently?

Trade in Value Offer expired the day before delivery

How many more miles you added after your trade in estimates? $1500 is not a small number. Almost feel Tesla is taking advantage of the trade in.

Trade in Value Offer expired the day before delivery

Did Tesla honor the original trade in value? I am thinking of doing the same trade in and would appreciate your experience.

    Is this a good deal? 2019 M3 AWD 7000mils FSD $49000?

I personally think it is an OK deal both in your case and my case. Although people here say 20% depreciation after 1 year, I rarely see any used Tesla listed went down that far from a few websites. From the few local dealer's listed used M3, 10% off after rebate with less than 15K mile went away...

    Is this a good deal? 2019 M3 AWD 7000mils FSD $49000?

The fact that many used Model 3 being sold at Tesla website went away pretty quickly make me think it is a good deal..... A brand new AWD with FSD would cost $56490-$1875 rebate=$54615. So the price is about 10% discount for the depreciation.

    Is this a good deal? 2019 M3 AWD 7000mils FSD $49000?

Hi Everyone: Just found a local list of Tesla M3 AWD at 7000 mils with FSD asking for $49000? Is it a good deal? The car was built on January 2019. Thanks
