Just have the dealer take a pic of the ‘software’ tab on the mcu, it will show model and if it has EAP or FSD. The badge on the trunk will say Dual Motor if it’s a Long Range, but then again Tesla uses the same nomenclature for the Standard Range model.

Seems odd if you don’t have it. The feature is well documented and appears to have been present at least since v6.0 software. How Does Tesla Keyless Driving Work?

Did you check if it’s enabled? It works perfectly on my 2015 model S.. Safety & Security > Allow Keyless Driving (scroll to the very bottom)

You need to enable keyless driving in the mcu settings first. If disabled you will get that error.

I also have this loud knock when the louvers operate, though on appearance they open and close fine. Service center says to me that there is a second set of these further back which are throwing an error. In any case it’s going in for repair in a couple of weeks.

Definitely your mcu is on its last breath. Mine did the Bluetooth error as well and two weeks later mcu died completely. I’d recommend scheduling an appointment anyway and not triggering unnecessary reboots/updates at this point or it may not come back. Don’t leave the sunroof open either...

Ah yes and so the prediction came true and the MCU did not boot this morning. To add to the frustration, the sunroof was open at the time. While not an issue while parked in the garage, I surely do not want to leave it like that at Tesla. Any ideas how one can close the sunroof with the MCU...

Had this exact issue Saturday morning, came out to the car in freezing temperature and the front passenger window was rolled down. It didn't seem it had been down all night. I did pre-heat the cabin prior to going out. S 90D from 12/2015

Same TPMS fault on a 2015 90D! Swapped wheels to the original ones 19" for winter and the car gives TPMS error only on the front left wheel. I then swapped front/rear but still showing the front left as the problem! Been to SC twice and they are convinced its down to user error in some way and...
