Workaround for this on an iphone is to go to Settings, Sounds & Haptics, and turn off "change with buttons." Your volume will not change when you get in/out of the car as a result. However you will not be able to change the ringer volume manually with the buttons on the side of your phone

Yep, furthering my concern it was someone's rejected vehicle. I wouldn't reject it based on the tires, but those Michelins would be a much better choice for Seattle than the Pirellis (which I have on my 2021 M3P).

2 days ago my EDD was moved to Jan3-Jan31. I'll be out of town the first 2 weeks of Jan so I actually hope its on the latter half of that estimate.
