Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

Finally got my invite Tuesday evening. As far as I know I had the lowest reservation number (RN1127441xx), it wasn’t exactly in order. But, I got it.

Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

Address correct on the Web site, check. I ordered the tri-motor with FSD, but I’ll probably go with the dual motor for range (the reason I went tri-motor originally was range). My X and Y are both LR versions for the range. RN1127441xx. The three Seattle Area invitations I know of are all higher...

Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

I've now talked to three people in the Seattle area who claim to have the invitations, all with later reservation numbers than I have. I guess Tesla doesn't like me anymore, or the really early reservations got screwed up somehow.

Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

No Christmas miracle as I still have no invite. Still not configurable online or in the App for me. Still no one posting a reservation number lower than mine. No one with an earlier timestamp on the confirmation email. But here in Washington I haven’t seen a single one on the road yet so I am...

Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

I really hope they get up to Seattle soon. It’s frustrating see every single RN number that has ordered Founders further down the list than mine. I have RN1127441XX and 2 Tesla’s, a very early Y and recently added an X. I originally ordered the tri-motor with FSD. But alas no invite yet. And no...

Anyone with a lower RN# than me?

RN1127441XX here in Washington State. I ordered the second things went live. As far as I’ve found, I have the lowest reservation number posted.

Oil/fluid leaking when parked on a slope

Thanks! I've got a bit of a cold at the moment, but I would say that's an accurate description of the smell, and the consistency definitely matches that of break fluid. Guess it's time to call service.

Oil/fluid leaking when parked on a slope

Sorry to open this one again, but it’s started happening to me. And this in a garage I’ve been parking in for over a year without any issues. The fluid is brown. It is slimy or slippery in nature. Not a lot of it. At first I thought it was due to the new epoxy coating, but then it started in a...

Home Flex suddenly dropped to 16A?

Just ran into the exact same problem Yes the pack was probably cold (it’s just above freezing outside), but I’ve been charging for a couple hours and it’s still running at 16A. On my Tesla mobile connector earlier in the day I saw the normal 32A. The ChargePoint is showing it’s configured at...

    Jeda Hub for Model Y

I don't have the Taptes one. Was it tight, yes. You just needed to find the right angle to insert it in. I'm not worried about it coming loose. But I also didn't feel like I was having to force it it. Edit: Forgot to answer the other question. With the Jeda Wireless Pad, it charges two phones...

    Jeda Hub for Model Y

I ordered mine in March. It was delivered last week. Install was less than a minute. Switching out my wireless charging pad didn't take much time at all either. Now I have a wireless pad that actually charges anything I drop on it and in either orientation, combined with a hub that has my drive...

    Door leaks, stuck "open"

I can reproduce it reliably by letting the water from the hose just run over the Y (no pressure needed). Always the rear passenger door. I'm going to schedule a service as this is one of several issues bothering me recently. I've not seen the problem in the rain ironically, only while trying to...

    20” Induction Wheels

First, I will say that the curb rash was totally my fault. It's just that the curb jumped out and got in my way completely unexpectedly. ;) That being said, the black design (which looks so great) is bad at showing any an all curb rash. Normally after 10 years of driving (and I'll own up to the...

    What about License Plates? SnapPlate

Another happy SnapPlate owner here. I ordered mine before I took deliver of my MY. Luckily they started shipping around the same time that Washington mailed me my plates, so I was only without a front for a couple days (and those were days I wasn't driving anyway). To be fair at the time the...

    AutoPilot Almost Killed Me!

For the people who think paying attention in the key to this problem, I give you this. I will let you be actively driving (and hence you have to be paying attention since you're actively controlling the car) at 70 miles an hour, and all you have to do to overcome my challenge is push the...

    AutoPilot Almost Killed Me!

Also not the OP, so I am talking about my own situation. Whenever I drive with AP/EAP/FSD engaged, I drive as if the thing is going to kill me. Actually there are large areas of road that I simply don't drive with any of it engaged. If you think it's fun going from 70 to 50 in about a second in...

    Inductive Phone Charger?

Likewise, switched my stock charger out for the Jeda (v3) and all my problems went away. The factory charger works great in certain situations but were far too finicky for me (or more specifically my wife's slightly thicker phone case).

    Model Y Wiper Issue

Are they as bad, I can't say since I didn't see what you were seeing. That being said, the wipers (and the washers) are one of my biggest gripes. They only spray at the bottom of the path and don't do a very good job at clearing away bug guts. I need to get myself some of that Bug Cleaning Wiper...

Loud wind noise coming from roof on freeway?

I likewise noticed it. Only at a specific speed though, when the highway opened up and the speed limit went up to 70, it disappeared. At first I thought it was a window. Haven't done enough driving at highway speeds thanks to the current situation. If I hear it again, I will be buying the kit...

    Need Jedda wireless pad?

Jeda gives you horizontal support and better support for large cases (like the one on my wife's iPhone). Plus they're just about to roll out their V3 Wireless Pad. After fighting with my built in one, I decided there was more than enough benefit (like my wife's phone charging while she's in the...

New Model Y curb rash on Day 2

I installed them after getting curb rash on like my second trip out. Luckily I haven't tested them yet, but here's hoping they actually work. But my curbing was probably under 20 mph, and no where near as much damage.

Should I add the Performance Upgrade on my MYP?

Induction on LR come with AS tires. I can confirm the M+S stamp on mine. Apparently on the Performance they will come with Summer.

20" Induction Wheels Now Included On Stealth Performance Y

I wanted the Stealth with Induction Wheels. I went with the LR specifically to get the Induction Wheels. Do I wish I had waited? Yes. Am I disappointed, no. I've been driving my Y since March, and it came at a time where I really needed the distraction. Besides, the acceleration is pretty damn...

    Window rolled down by itself

I had that problem when I first got my Y on the drivers door. I would close the door, it would roll back up (since it drops a bit when you open the door), and then it would roll down a couple of inches. Resetting the sensors worked. My guess is it closes a little too tight, detects the...

Like the Dashcam Improvements. Seems like a big issue is getting the drives formatted properly with the folder in the right place. If you have a dedicates drive, one button does it all for you.

    Issues with Wireless Charging

This seems to be a relatively common complaint as there are multiple threads already on this. My wife and I both have the same iPhone, mine charges without a problem, hers is exactly as you describe. The only difference is the size of the case. I've got a small thin one, she's got a large extra...

How much quieter is Y than 3?

Never actually drove one. Have sat in them. They were comfortable, and the fit and finish seemed impressive (who knows long term). It came down to a couple issues. 1) Range - while Jaguar actually has been doing a good job in OTA and improving the overall range after deliver, it's still not the...

    Front license plate holder.

I can completely understand. Everyone is looking for something specific to their needs. Just make sure the OTTOSTEER works on the Y. SnapPlate had to change their design for the Y, hence the reason I took delivery on my Y before I received the SnapPlate.

    Front license plate holder.

I've been driving with it for two weeks. I am very happy with how solid it is. I don't know what video you're referring to but there are some impact test videos on the SnapPlate site. They also have extra parts available. Yes, it is 3D printed, but I don't mind that (actually as a bit of a tech...

How much quieter is Y than 3?

To be very, I very strongly considered the I-Pace. I wanted more luxury/comfort (I'm getting old, what can I say) combined with really wanting a HUD, or something in front of me. The deals combined with the still existing tax credits were definitely a draw. But I've had my Y for over a month now...

Front license plate installation or holder questions

Let me just add my +1 for the SnapPlate. I've been living with it for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love the design. To me it was well worth the money over using the tape that came with the Tesla provided mount, or worst drilling wholes in the front to secure it with bolts. I feel like...

    Charging my Y with a NEMA 14-50

I am almost always exactly at 30, although I have seen higher (I think the highest I've observed was 33). The only time I remember seeing 29 is when I first the car and first plugged it it, but it went to 30 within a few minutes.

    Front license plate holder.

Installed my SnapPlate on Saturday and I love it. Definitely a 5/5 from me. It's so easy to put on and take off. And comes with a screw to lock it in place if you'd prefer. My wife gave me a black frame from her car which I put on top and it makes it look pretty sharp. Would be better if it were...

    Roof Rack

$450 gets you both cross bars if that's what you're asking. They are different sizes from each other, not identical, so unless you see two different SKU's there is no way for it not to be.

Likewise, I did the curb rash thing (yesterday) on my Induction Wheels. Ordered as set of AlloyGator's and will get them put on when I get the rim repaired. With the #STAYATHOME discount code, total for me with tax was $123.17 (includes $11.20 tax). Fit and finish issues

Good choice on the configuration. ;) And I'll second the "I love the hell out of this thing." sentiment. Regarding item 2 (the item I left in the quote above), the rattle on the drivers side at city speed is driving me nuts. I've tracked mine down to the center console somewhere. Don't have the...

    MYP and AWD

I did go with FSD. I figured I’d rather pay for it now and get the extra features it enables. Plus we’re almost at the point where it will work for traffic lights and stop signs. That being said, I enjoy driving and don’t plan on using it very often. But when stuck in traffic or on longer trips...

    MYP and AWD

Everyone's situation is going to be different. For me, I went with LR with IW because I like the look better. I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber spoiler, I like the look of the car better without it. 4.8 seconds to 60 is more than I need (although I'll happily pay for an upgrade if/when one...

    Stealth performance vs AWD

I can say for sure they all do. But according to this thread, at least some of the LR and Performance are the same vehicle with different software. I fit that list, and my insurance company thinks I have a Performance even though I don't. Ironically I specifically downgraded to the LR to get the...

Tesla releases Dashcam Viewer software update, allows TeslaCam, Sentry Mode viewing in car

    Taptes and Jeda hub preorders

I agree it's overpriced for what it is, but I'd rather pay for a shop designing for the car then copying the design. And Jeda has been a reputable company with lots of support in the community. Finally, I agree that the $25 seems too inexpensive. Apparently yes it is possible to price something...
