I mean, when they launched the refresh in 2021 they straight up just cancelled existing orders and said tough luck. They could have easily eaten the cost for the few who had orders already. Tesla has shitty customer service on this type of stuff.

With all the rumors about upcoming changes, I would highly recommend you reject and put a 2 week vacation hold and hope for a 2024 VIN. It's always possible you reject and get a 2023 VIN that is worse that the current one though, FYI.

It's so dumb as-is. Need to constantly switch which screen I'm looking at. Have basically stopped using it except for when I need to guess where the nose of the car is at. But for backing up I just use the cameras.

Have had the car for almost a week. Prefer the stalks but not a big deal. The main annoying thing that will linger is the HighBeam button (can't HighBeam to "thank" someone for letting me turn when the wheel is already turned) and the horn not being in the center.

I don't disagree that you should reject if you don't feel comfortable given how much these cars cost. But the issues you pointed out seem pretty minor minus the drive unit failing - and these types of rare failures will happen to all manufacturers.
