    shifting from reverse to drive

In ICE cars with conventional auto transmissions, I have always been careful to come to a complete stop before going from R to D. Any reason to do so in our cars?

cubby removal - anyone know how?

I am guessing that zero mpg: (a) is talking about the storage bin under the touchscreen, and (b) only wants to remove it to do something with it (and not leave it out permanently)...

    Seat belt buzzer

Is there any way to disable the buzzer? I use my seat belt 100% of the time but I rarely buckle it before i turn the car "on" (step on the brake). I find the beeping maddening.

    Model S Valet Instructions

Nice - just leave it up on the browser when you valet. There should be a "valet" mode that lowers speed, leaves something like this up on the screen, and locks out the glove box (with a code to disable).

App climate control. How long will it stay on?

related question: how many miles of range does the climate preconditioning eat up per hour in, say, (a) 96 degree sun, or (b) 10 degree cold? I will test and provide data regarding (a).

    Camera for Rearview Seats

the rearview mirror on the tesla is really nice - you will likely not want to sully it with an aftermarket one... I too would like this ability... Perhaps somebody will figure out a way to hack in more cameras with a switch (e.g., switch between rearview, frontview, and children)

Audio Info Not Showing up on screen behind Steering Wheel

If you used navigation, that took over the left side of the dash and then when the nav session it done it goes blank again. I hope that this is fixed by Tesla in the future - after the nav session is over, the left side of the dash shuold revert to its previous setting (e.g., media display).

    running charger cable through wall?

99% of the time, I park inside my garage (where my NEMA 14-50 is installed). On occasion, I would like the option of leaving the car in the driveway with the garage door closed. Any ideas for how to nicely run the carging cable through a wall (e.g., a little door or some such thing)? It is a...

three small children and a Model S

One problem you may run into is that the seat belt buckles are placed close to each other and very hard to use with child seats as they are in the crack of the seat. You cant use latch anchors for all 3 positions simultaneously - I think you could do latch for the two outboard locations and belt...

    My charge port won't open

I had a similar problem after having my charge port door replaced (I walked into it breaking the reflector - oops). Tesla came back and fixed it by putting some "shims" in the assemble (washers I believe). It has worked perfectly since the fix. The Ranger was aware that differences in...

Anyone got SunPass working yet? (Florida)
