Consumer Reports lists GM's Super Cruise well ahead of Tesla's Autopilot in their 'ratings'. Anyone driven both and how would you compare them? Just curious. Consumer Reports is not overly reliable in my opinion, but still piqued curiousity.

Unfortunately for many of us, the driver side mirror was poorly designed. It cannot reach where it needs to be for a proper a adjustment. It doesn't go 'out' far enough.

Always changes the max speed on its own when going from highway to highway. Seems to view as on/off ramps when they really aren't. Dangerous when it slows me way down relative to other traffic. Other see this a lot?

It's amazing how the different SCs deliver different experiences. Wonder how much it's the people, or Tesla not supporting them with enough people, training and tools. In my area, I emailed the service center down the road. Got a response in less than 15 minutes, and had nothing but curteous...

Not controversial. But glad you found something that works for you. When you need service nothing more frustrating than when they don't recognize what an inconvenience it is for people.

I might be having this issue. Not sure if it's a puffy rattle so much as a click on bumps. I can mess with the window to make it go away some times. Did you apply to window seal where window connects while up, or where it goes down into the door?

I'd like to see a feature in the car where you could schedule the end of your work day, or whatever you're doing, and the car preps to be warmed up for you at that time without intervention. An extension of the scheduled departure. Someone with Elon's ear....

Great write up. Thanks for sharing. We haven't taken a road trip in our 3 yet. It sounds fun and almost adventurous... but also long. That's got to be at least 8+ hours longer right now. And the savings over gas is lower than I would have expected (compared to say a 35 mpg vehicle).

Definitely the worst wiper settings I've ever had on a car. I have to leave them off and just use the manual stalk in anything but a downpour. Else auto is scraping a too-dry window aggressively. And the three manual settings don't compare to a standard 7-10 setting vehicle. Small nits. But...

I've been trying out spotify. I used to be able to search (via voice) for a specific song and it would bring it up in search results for spotify. (a month or two ago) Now it never finds a specific song to play in spotify, songs I know are available. Moving in the wrong direction.

No, I don't think by design. Because for some light setups it keeps the colors. I think it really can't see them. It shows the actual light casing only because it knows where it is as you pass, not because it can actually see it the whole way. But we'll see just have to see how it evolves...
