Not got my car yet but have a non Tesla tethered charger so reading this with interest. The manual says it should unlock just when you unlock the car (see highlighted in screenshot) - I take it this is not the real world observed behaviour?

Possibly - it was more that two attempts to get a listed inventory item from Tesla stock in both cases wasn’t possible despite them being available for many hours later.

Interesting - I’m going through Zenith and they’ve explicitly said I have to get from a Tesla SC as they “do it differently” and when I spoke to Tesla I checked and they have me down (correctly) for Stockport albeit as of Monday (when I last called) I don’t have a VIN yet.

Its your Tesla order number (assume RN = reservation number?). If you have it you can then call up Tesla directly and check the status of your order (they may whine a bit about dealing with you as it is a lease order but I've found them ok the two times I've called).

+1 here. Ordered 31/1 - emailed and asked for the RN which they provided no problems other than a lag in replying to every email. per Tesla this morning not yet VIN matched. They have all the right details including email and delivery location at least.
