They came today with new hub caps and they had the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be a known fix at this time.

They contacted me after the video I sent in and said that they “are aware of the issue” and have ordered new hub caps. They are now coming to me on Monday to install them. I’ll know right away if it fixes it and will let you know.

While not directly answering your question - the only partial workaround that I have found is changing the default setting for how high the trunk raises. Prior to changing the setting the trunk would bang into my garage door.

Per code I used red and black 6 AWG THHN wire (https://www.wireandcableyourway.com/6-awg-thhn-building-wire.html) for the hot wires along with 10 AWG THHN for the ground inside of 3/4" metal conduit connected to a 60 amp two pole breaker. Works great.
