Do I need to upgrade to MCU2 in order to get the side marker cameras to work?

I'm confused. I have AP2 as well as the side repeater cameras. Why would they be there is there is no use for them?

Do I need to upgrade to MCU2 in order to get the side marker cameras to work?

This is good info. I am having issues with my backup camera, it works intermittently and when it doesn't work, it says "Camera Unavailable". I'm not sure if its a bad camera or if I just need the MCU2. If getting the MCU2 fixes the backup cam issue and provides side views along with netflix...

Wider tires on stock 21s? 255/35/21 and 275/35/21

Thank you. Would it be a problem if I kept the fronts at 245 and run 275 in the rear?

Do I need to upgrade to MCU2 in order to get the side marker cameras to work?

While driving my Model 3 and Y, I have the ability to see the view the cameras on each side of the car (on the left/right side of the fenders). I have late 2016 S with AP2.0. How I get I get access to these cameras? I believe my car was manufactured during the transition period from AP1 to AP2...

2016 Model S 60 with Highway AP and AP2.0 - How do I get the side camera to work?

I wonder if my backup camera will work 100% of the time if I changed to MCU2? Just trying to figure out if it's worth the $2250 to upgrade. I have a Model 3 Perf and Y Perf at home to drive as well...

2016 Model S 60 with Highway AP and AP2.0 - How do I get the side camera to work?

So I believe I have a late 2016 S 60. I have the side cameras but whenever I use my backup cam, I only see the rear camera. Do the side marker cameras works on my car? I have Highway AP and AP2. Lately, my screen been going out once in a while for a few seconds while driving. My back up camera...

Wider tires on stock 21s? 255/35/21 and 275/35/21

It’s time to replace my tires. Instead of going back to stock size (245/45/21 and 265/35/21), I’m wondering if I will run into any issues by going slightly wider with 255 (front) and 275 (rear). I feel like the extra width will help with protecting the wheels.

Let's see your aftermarket wheels on stock suspension (non-air suspension)

I am thinking of getting a set of 21" twin turbines for my S (no air suspension) or aftermarket 20s or 21s. Let's see pics of your cars on stock height. Thanks!

    Spoiler lip recommendations - 2016 Model S

I am looking to add a rear spoiler lip on my 2016 Model S. The stock spoiler is a tad bit shorter than I would like so I'm looking to see if any of you have installed a similar one that extends further out to the trunk lid. (subtle looking). I have MSM so feel free to post pics! I'm considering...

    Coilovers for snowy winter climates?

I'm currently running Eibach Pro-Kit on my 2020 M3P. They perform extremely well but I'm thinking of getting MPP or KW coilovers, which will allow me to raise the car back up during the winter snowy months. I will not be tracking the car very much (maybe 1-2 times per summer). I'm curious to...

    Goodyear Assurance MaxLife tires

I’ve had my Goodyear Assurance Maxlife for only a couple days (only about 200 miles) and so far they seem decent. They moght be slightly louder than stock but barely noticeable. In terms of range, I’ve noticed these tires do consume more battery. But since they are 85k mileage tires, i think...

Steering Wheel creaking - Control Arm or Steering/suspension problem

My indy mechanic confirmed it is the upper control arm that's causing the squeaking. He sprayed a little grease which helped a little but I'm sure it'll come back once it dries up. I called Tesla SC and they said that its covered under warranty as long as they find that the lowering springs...

Steering Wheel creaking - Control Arm or Steering/suspension problem

I'm bringing in the car in to a local indy shop to see if they can diagnose the problem. If they claim, its the control arm, I am worried the service center won't warranty due to aftermarket springs. I'm hoping the SC can just fix it under warranty since this appears to be a common problem with...

Steering Wheel creaking - Control Arm or Steering/suspension problem

So I recently started hearing creaking noises coming from what it appears to be either my suspension or steering column. The sound is coming from the front drivers side. I hear the annoying noise when I am turning or hitting bumps on the road. I can also hear it when my car is parked and by...
