I’ve had this car for less than a week, and I absolutely love it.

Apparently by the time I departed work the problem had resolved itself. All good now.

I did submit a big report and I actually just opted into the advanced updates yesterday, before this bug started happening.

Hey All. I’ve had my MY for a few days now and it’s been awesome. No issues, until this morning. The backup camera is black. I tried the reset by pressing and holding the two steering wheel buttons but that didn’t help. Anything else I should try before contacting service? Thanks

I would just wait for Tesla to install it. Putting on an after market tow hitch might void some warranties.

Thats ironic, same day I posted this thread, I get a text from Tesla that says: Tesla Update - We currently expect your Model Y to be built in the next 7 days... I wonder what that means as it pertains to actual delivery.

I got the same text.

I was at the Carlsbad DC center yesterday myself. It was super busy with people picking up and a ton of Tesla’s waiting to be delivered. I will eventually be picking up my MY there, so glad to hear they are pretty straight forward.

I would be suspicious of getting a Y that fast right now. My sales advisor actually called me and said there was a Y that matched what I wanted (minus the tow hitch) that I could get as early as next week. I asked if it was someone else’s order that refused delivery, and it was. He was honest...

Looks great! I have the same one on order (except with a Tow Hitch). In San Diego. Ordered 5-23-20... I was in the 2-4 week text this week... let's hope that stands true!!

Tesla offered me 22k for my truck, which was better than CarMax. I ended up private party selling it for 36k. I feel Tesla is no different than any other dealer when it comes to trade ins.

Anyone have any opinions on mud flaps?

Those were my first two choices too... I got the TESMANIAN floor mats, not sure on the specific tint yet though.

Hey All... new guy here. Thought I would join this thread. I ordered on May 23rd. Model Y, Blue, Black Interior, Tow Hitch, Induction Wheels, No FSD. I got a text from Tesla that said that any orders received by the end of May would be fulfilled mid to late June. Fingers crossed!
